I have just docked for repairs in New Tokyo after surviving a great battle against the the Sentai-86 and Nova Blood Dragons and the KNF and other allies near the planet Kyushu.
Myself and one of our newest recruits Kuro Aki were returning to Kusari from an extended patrol in Gaian space when we wandered into the large encounter with 3 Sentai and a Nova, it looked like the odds were beginning to swing in the Blood Dragons favour until my Brother and I boosted towards the skirmish and gave the dragons a taste of Hogosha bravery.
Quickly the pirates began to fall until only 1 remained (Ookami), who fought with great honour for many minutes until fatigue set in and one of our allies cripled his ship with a fatal blow.
Although our brother Kuro Aki fought with great courage and bravery, his ship received a crippling blow but luckily I tractored him into my Raven and we continued on our way back to New Tokyo.
Akishino Kyokutei deserves special praise for deleivering the fatal blows on all of the enemies ships, a true hero of Kusari!

Konnichwa Father, Eldars, and Kobun in the Black Dragon Society. It is with great honor that I accept the title of Fuku-Honbucho. As a lieutenant of our family, I will see to it that our foundation in Kusari is maintained. I, like all of you started humbly as a Kobun. I did not seak greatness in our society but my continued service has seemed to catch the eye of our eldars. I expect the Kobun to show me the same measure of dedication and loyalty, that I gave as a Kobun, and will continue to give as a Fuku-Honbucho.
I will begin by submitting my latest endevours. While GMG patrols were reported low in the sigma's, I was able to enter the system without alerting their patrols. It seems the GMG harbors much resentment to our society. While we do not engage in hostile actions in their entrance to Kusari we are hardly met with the same treatment. The GMG blindly believe we are supporters of the Samura company without obtaining the proper evidence. Junkers seem to roam freely in these sectors due to our decreased activity, but I quickly reminded them of our presence there. I managed to find and capture some junkers as they flew through the thick nebula. As I departed however, it seems the thick cloud was unable to mask my presence, and GMG were soon alerted to my presence. I quickly departed into Honshu, and travelled to Sigma-19. It was not long ago that the junkers launched an attack on the Luxer Liner Hawaii. I took my captives there to recieve special "treatment." I wanted these prisoners alive. While there I quickly overlooked to our business on the liner, ensuring everything has been running smoothly. We've taken extra precaution since the attack to ensure our business is not interfered with.
I departed, and proceeded to head back to Honshu, however the GMG are resiliant. They intercepted my ship and began barking orders at me. In an attempt to diffuse the mood, I camly spoke with the miners. I even offered them a filthy Outcast pirate that I was able to collect in my travels. We have no use for these pirates, and if the GMG are jailing them at least they are no longer our problem and they will stay out of our system. However, the GMG nevertheless continued to remain hostile, to a simple Hogoshan, "enjoying the view spectacular vistas of the Sigma-19 system." The miners did not act on their words, as I'm sure they were a bit grateful when they detected the Junkers in my hold. They escorted me out of the system where I returned to Kabukicho to unload my captives for "questioning."
After this, I felt a visit to bretonia was in hand. Their privateers have been stopped in Kusari numerous times. I felt it was time to return the favor. After terrorizing Bowex, and BMM stations, I was able to pass to the Magellens, where I awaited traders heading to Liberty. However, it seems trades between Bretonia and Liberty are not quite as numerous as our trades with Rheinland. Our strong economic support will undoubtetly fuel our war efforts. It wasn't long until BAF patrol forces were able to isolate my position. It's a shame, military ships doing Police work. Upon coming into scaner range, I made a quick departure and evaded the patrols. However, I was routed when trying to escape through the Lewis system! I was able to evade the patrols and escape into Liberty. I had to be careful, they would not look kindly on a Hogosha ship, carrying Bretonian captives.
Staying off the main transit lanes, I was able to detour toward Colorado, bypassing any liberty patrols. However, the system chatter indicated that a member of the Liberty Navy was getting agrivated by Junker ships blocking the tradelanes. I took this opportunity to spread some propaganda about the Junkers. Explaining to them their latest exploits in slave trading, and harboring pirates. The Liberty Officer was quite gracious, so gracious in fact that he tipped me off to some important information.
I was able to intercept the two junkers in question out side of Planet Denver. Clearly they have connections in the LPI to acquire such a large shipment of slaves. Carrying no supplies for the slaves, I first attempted an approach. Slaving is Illegal in most of Sirius. Here I had concrete evidence of the Junkers connection with LPI and the slave trade. I stopped the convoy, and explained to them their predicament. I told them I'd keep my mouth shut, if they proved their worth. But instead they continuted on their route, and ignored the situation. They even insulted me when I continued to disrupt their cruise engines to keep them there to "chat." I had given them enough time to "co-operate." Clearly headed towards Kusari, I offered them a chance to leave with their lives after insulting me. They clearly thought highly of themselves, and offered them an ultimatum to put their credits to their thoughts. 10 million credits for their lives. Refusing they left me with my favorite option. Junker Destruction.
I continued persuit, but their ships were reinforced with armor plating. The larger train seemed to be able to absorb a few rounds of my Supernova. So I decided to focus on the smaller of the transports, one without proper reinforcing. "Fat Tony" took this opportunity to flee, as I continued persuit of Jose.Padilla.
To my surpise, they knew of jumpholes I've never mapped before.. Leading to my surprise when the entered a secured Kusari Naval Force system! I immediatly send out a communication to the Naval forces explaining my presence, and I asked them to intercept the trader.
However, he managed to escape to Honshu, where he finally met his inevitable destruction. A pity the slaves needed to be wasted. Some of them could have proved useful in our prostitution rings, or be traded for profit. However, if this junker was not stopped even more slaves would meet the same treacherous fate. I also needed to deliver a message.. No Junker is safe in Kusari, even at the expense of slaves. The blood is on the Junker's hands for not co-operating, it is their fault they did not accept my initial conditions.
I notified the KSP of the intruder, and warned them that another junker may possibly go through the same route. I will need to submit a formal report to explain to them the rising danger of Junker slavers. Especially if they know of secured guard systems!
I was able to call in assistance, in saving these poor slaves.. Although it would have been useful to our trades, a KSP officer responded to my request for aid. I felt it was better to maintain our image, and surrendered all my captives to him even the slaves.. Finally I was able to give up the bretonian swine in my hold to a Kusari officer.. I could only hope that the destruction of the Junker ship scared a few of the captives.
It was at this time, I went to New Tokyo, in order to rest after all these endevours. However, I was interrupted when our new brother, Sen'shi Kyokutei requested aid in Honshu. He has already submitted a report on the incident.
With the mounting evidence we have against the Junkers, even of a member of the junker council we should push for their banning in Kusari. This will allow us to focus our efforts in driving the gaijin back, to expand our business outside of Kusari.
I then heard of an independant Hogosha, piloting a corsair gunboat (//with all nomad weapons) openly pirating in our home system. This would not be condoned.
I was able to reason with the headstrong Hogoshan, into more favorable conditions.
After all these events, I was still not finished with my work. Tomodachi, and our new brother Kuro Aki were ready. I felt it was necissary to travel to edinbourgh, to ensure diplomatic relations with the Gaiains were maintained. At the same time, we could ensure our ships were registered to enter their guard system, allowing a safe route of escape from the BAF/BPG when we attend to "business in bretonia." However, it was not long until BAF forces arrived, directly OUTSIDE of islay. It seems the Gaiains were not as well hidden as they expected. I had trouble with my ship, and these trigger happy bretonian swine offered no chance for Tomodachi to stale them until my ship was working. I undocked and immediatly entered the fray. It was not long until they managed to fire a few lucky shots at Tomodachi, breaching his hull.
I continued to fights the bretonians, exhausting their supply of missiles, nanobots, and batteries. However, Islay was able to detect reinforcements en route to assist the two pilots. The scum, I felt only one option available. To ensure the safe return of the bretonian captives I had, I decided to escape destruction. Bretonia scum, calling me a coward when they new reinforcements and supplies were en route to their location. No matter, I escaped and I will return to prove to them the power of the Hogosha!
These repeated skirmishes with Sentai-86, Kiretsu, gaijin traders, outcasts, and pirates in our system only strengthen the need for a training program. I have requested that all Kobun, and all eldars post their available hours outside their daily duties to the society. I will begin structuring a formalized training program. Eldar Mazakatu Nagumo is correct, increased training and militarization is the only answer to the belligerence of our enemies and rivals. We will show them the power of our family!

Honorable friends,
please excuse this intrusion on your communication networks.
As we all know, the future of Kusari lies in honoring our Emperor, our traditions and our heritage. As we all know, gaijin come to Kusari, and not few of them come to take what is ours, and they need to be controlled. Your societies services in keeping Kusari safe is acknowledged, but some of you - or rather your younger associates, I assume - seem to forget the duties we all have in protecting the Empire.
The message I have, which is for those in all likelihood few, young and possibly not even sanctioned by you at all, the message I would like forwarded to those individuals is this - do not put a Samurai in the position to choose between his gratitude to the Hogosha, and his duty to his Emperor and liege.
I tell you this - if your activities imperil the honor of the Emperor, the Emperor's wrath will come down upon you with full fury until such practices ceases.

Konnichiwa Elders and brothers,
Another days patrol in Kusari and another battle alongside our Kusari allies against the Blood Dragons, and I am happy to report another success for the forces of the emporer.
The Blood dragons in question (BDW.C faction) fought well against overwhelming odds but in the end the last remaining enemy realised he would be soon defeated and chose to end his own life.
On a positive note myself and Hakatoa Yamota, our new Fuku-Honbucho had chance to train in the Tottori system. This was a very useful excersise for myself, hearing his opinions on combat and strategies; I urge all Kobun's to take his advice. (I also hope that maybe he learn't a little from me during the encounter too).
I feel I am starting to know my latest ship a Raven's Talon very well now.
Later on we were joined by one of latest recruits and decided to visit our Gaian allies during a long range patrol mission, this is a momento of the occassion.

With regard to the actions of Hogosha not alligned with our syndicate, we owe no particular loyalty to them should their actions threaten our operations in any way. While the other syndicates share some common goals, they are at best friendly rivals, and should understand that we will take action should they infringe on the . . . special relationship . . . we enjoy with Kusari officials.
Kobun, take note: actions such as the piracy practiced by Domkara-san will not be tolerated within the Black Dragons. Should this fool return to commit piracy under the Hogosha banner he must be treated as an enemy.
Should any of these other Hogosha hear my message, understand that we do not want you as our enemy, but these actions are inexcusable.

Sirs,
We of the Black Dragon Society appreciate your concern and have no wish to create a conflict of interest for the KSP. Neither do we wish to draw undue attetion to ourselves within Kusari. In this respect we have held internal discussions to make sure all of the BDS are aware of our no pirating in Kusari policy, we will only intervene where we see illegal gaijin trade.
In addition, we will try wherever possible to dissuade independent Hogosha from acting against our principles, however, I cannot guarrantee success in this endeavor as our influence is limited. In this respect could I ask you to let me know the name of any Hogosha pilot seen acting in a disorderly fashion, backed up by your ships records? We will not tolerate others besmirching our name.
Signed for the Black Dragons,
Takata Ran

Konnichiwa Brothers and Elders of the Black Dragon Society,
I have just finished the construction of my new 21F "Drone" Kusari Freighter.
(Akizuki means 秋月 Autumn moon)
Two days earlier, Brother Hakatoa suggested that I should use my past contacts inside Planet Hogosha in order to transport Artifacts into Kusari. Unfortunately as we were preparing for the task, unexpected problems merged inside Planet Honshu which complicated matters.
Now however these problems have been solved and I decided to continue the trade-mission. I had just received news that the Corsair home planet, Crete was in a state of food crisis and they were in desperate need of food rations. Brother Hakatoa had already acquired intelligence about this earlier and suggested that I should trade Food for Artifacts. This would prove later to be a wise deal. Packing up the Food Rations along with necessary supplies for the trip, I proceeded to enter Sigma-17 system from Honshu.
Before I continued my journey from Sigma-17 I decided to take a quick stop at the Luxury Liner Hawaii for repairs and H-fuel.
Shortly thereafter I entered Sigma-19 system and continued my destination to the Omicron Theta jumphole.
When I entered the Omicron Gamma system, I immediately opened the communications device to alert my presence and state my business. When I was close to Planet Crete I was halted by a Corsair Gunboat for scan, I understood this was normal procedures for safety reasons and happily complied.
Now with the permission to enter Planet Crete, I docked and found an Artifact dealer who did not hesitate to ask if my overabundance of Food Rations were for trade-negotiations. I calmly answered yes and initiated the transaction.
After the trade was completed I was forced to delay my trip back to Kusari for one day due to radiation damages on my ship caused by the Malvada Cloud.
I hope the Corsair-engineers will swiftly deal with my ship-malfunctions so I can return home. Meanwhile I'm gazing at the beautiful sky from one of the apartments where I will rest for the evening.

I had a run-in with a Junker smuggler in an Heavy Tanker in Tau-29 today. He had a load of Plutonium, but I managed to get him to dump it all into space.
Unfortunately, guncams and most of the comm log are not available. I knew I should of ordered that tech from Samura and not Kishiro...

Konnichwa Eldars, and brothers in our most honored Society. It has been some time since my last report. This does not mean I have been inactive in our space. I will begin by announcing that the Golden Dragon has recovered from its attack from the GC witches. It is once again in space, fully repaired and stocked. I'm sure our Wakagashira will see to it that this does not happen again. It pains me to hear of the attack, and I can only dream of a swift recovery to our father. It remains docked, until the lockdown is lifted. I would like to discuss the use of this vessel shortly, before it begins it's journey into Kusari space.
As I continued to deal with the non-stop presence of smugglers in our systems- I came across yet another Bretonian Privateer. Needless to say these rampaging pirates don't seem to learn.
As I continued my patrols, stopping unlicensed smugglers, a member of the WDR zoners, those licensed to export plutonium showed his gratitude, and put forward a donation to the Kusari people.
Although the training program has not yet been implemented, during an exercise with Tomodachi we encountered a gaijin presence in Tottori.. Needless to say he was "just passing through." We made sure he received a few plasma sears on the way out. Ignorant Gaijin
After all this commotion in Kusari I felt it was necessary to collect some credits, as a donation to the Kusari people. The continuous strain of the war can leave some citizens distressed. I felt there was no better place to do this than in Bretonia. Clearly their privateers have paved a path for these actions, although we were much better behaved to the traders.. Myself, and Hogosha ally- Akira were there to promote Kusari good image.. Not spit on it, like the privateers of Bretonia do.
It wasn't long until the BAF showed up..
As it shows, a large liner then appeared, aiding the remaining BAF. Akira was gunned down, and although I was able to cause destruction to a few of the Liners decks, my ship finally buckled, and I lost control of my systems. Ejecting from my ship, I was able to escape capture in the thick ice clouds.
I was finally picked up by a stray freelancer, and slowly made my way home to Kusari... Events like this only help me savor Kusari's elegance.. Of course, when this is threatened by Outcast pirates, I have no other desire than to create Junker bait.
The defense of my homeland does not go un-noticed. Already recognized in my Bomber, the Hogosha elite have finally accepted me into their ranks as an elite Fighter Pilot. I feel there is no greater thanks, than to continue defending Kusari as I have so honorably done.
I then had a rather peculiar encounter with a DSE employee. I saw him carrying Blood Dragon pilots across Kusari, no doubt a terrorist ploy at delaying their gate construction. However, when I asked for him to surrender the pilots, so they could be dealt with accordingly, the employee acted strangely.
Perhaps we should keep an eye on these gaijin.. It seems gate construction is no their only concern.
I then stumbled upon members of the Blood Dragon clan, the NovaPG.. I fought against the warriors against the odds- 2 against one. At this time I was still an inexperienced pilot compared to today, and I regret to inform you that my ship was destroyed. However- I do hope that this piece of evidence makes up for my dishonor in combat.
It seems the GMG feel ready to side with the Blood Dragons. Although the Dragons may be misguided warriors, their terrorist actions present a great hostility to our way of life. It seems the GMG wish to capitalize upon this, helping our enemies against us so they can plunder the Kusari way of life, all to claim territory for their gas miners. I feel it's about time we acted against these miners. They are as much a threat to Kusari as the blood dragons themselves. With the help from Samura, our new base in Okiniwa is an excellent staging facility. This is another discussion I wish to have aboard the golden dragon.
Carrying on with my reports,
I was lucky enough to be given the chance to fly the black Dragon once again. Samura has honored us with their engineers. Until I was honored to be in possession of the vessel, I flew the new Farmer Alliance Bomber- ensuring passing gaijin remained... respectable.. It wasn't long until I found a vessel impeding one of our trades in Kusari.. The foreigner was carrying a full load of Synthetic Marijuana, and was reluctant to "co-operate". Cargo Scan ID Scan
The gaijin took shelter on Tsushima depot but not before his ship shields were shredded by my vessel. It didn't take long for his vessel to accidently be cleared for departure, no doubt with help from the Samura workers.
He tried to reason with me, but as he failed to convince me to let him live.
Another foreigner's influence and impeding business, removed from our house.
I decided to dock for the night, awaiting my black dragon vessel to finish its construction in the coming days.
Upon its completion, I heard of a great attack, Kiretsu, and Blood Dragons invading New Tokyo. I met a fellow KNF samurai in space, and aided in repelling the enemies.
Kill1 Kill2
However, the terrorists received more reinforcements. Both sides were taking loses, and a retreat was issued. I was too busy evading gunfire to reply, but I made haste to escape. The GC were not keen on letting a Hogoshan man live. They have quite the vendetta against our slave trade..
I dragged the entire force towards KNF reinforcements, where I proceeded to once again engage, as they continued to give chase. However- It wasn't long before my ship was once again destroyed. Both sides continued to reinforce themselves.. I'm ashamed I could not give further aid to our Samurai.
Once again, without a Black Dragon vessel I decided to head to Leeds, in my bomber, to pay a visit to our bretonian friends.
I would like to end with a good note- As you may have heard; there have been certain frictions between the AFA and the Outcasts. Already these drug peddlers threaten the fabric of Kusari. The AFA have taken action against their transports and they have retaliated with military force. As their ambassador Ze'ev has so bodly pointed out, their drugs cannot have a chance to grow roots in our society. Recieving my third Black Dragon ship, I've put this one to much better use against the Outcast threats.
The details of the fights are available in the various communications and bounties placed. I suggest that all my brothers become updated in the current Outcast threat. They will die by our blades.
That is all my brothers.

With the advent of the ensuing attack, Ze'ev has asked for us to conduct a meeting aboard the Golden Dragon. A form of treaty is to be made, against the Gaijin invaders. I suggest a meeting is arranged so the problems can be discussed.
//The silent treaty with NovaPG
I would also like to express my concern towards an officer in the KNF. I suggest we keep this secret, as it involves a member of our syndicate, or more precisely his brother. We may not conduct the most noble of business, but we are loyal and honorable to the Kusari people. However, when patrolling the Tau sectors, I stumbled upon Sen'shi Kyokutei's brother Akishiro Kyokutei, a samurai in the KNF. However, he was carrying peculiar cargo towards Freeport 6.
As you know of our traditions, and our business we have spend many hours in the interrogation room. I could not help but feel that this man was lying to me. If he was working with the Hogosha, we would have known, but so far I have been unable to determine the reason for possessing the cargo. I was called away, to attent to other matters but recent activities have me worried. I suggest the Wakagashira pays close attention to our new recruit. I also seek permission in carrying an investigation, into the possible intentions of Sen'shi's brother. We cannot have the KNF swayed by other motives than our syndicates, and the might Samura.
I await your responses.

Brothers, it has been long since I last spoke here. Suffice to say that I have been extremely busy.
I have of late been engaged in re-outfitting part of our fleet, as part of larger efforts to reaffirm our strength in Kusari space. Also, I have engaged in field exercises with the crew of the Kusari Pride as part of our new training initiative. I am pleased to announce that enhancements to the ships weaponry are complete, and that we have obtained a new license from the Emperor to continue to operate the ship in Kusari space.
I am also proud to welcome a new member to the ranks, Konosuke Nakamura, a good friend of mine who joins at the rank of Kobun. Be sure to watch for him in his Black Dragon fighter as he patrols the skies of New Tokyo, which I have assigned to him as a patrol route.
. . . but all news is not good. Blood Dragon and Outcast activity rages on in Kyushu; I fear we are not equipped to handle both of these threats head-on. Diplomatic solutions to this problem are interesting, but are of course more of concern to the Elders than myself.
While patrolling in Kyushu I encountered a "B. Jonson" - an Outcast destroyer cruising through the tradelanes in the middle of the system! Armed with a new bomber, I attempted to follow and disable the ship, but was unable to do much more than bring down its shields before it escaped to the Tau's: my prey had escaped me.
To further add to this dishonor, not an hour later a group of Blood Dragons of the [Sentai-86] clan launched an assault on our Farmer's Alliance allies. After great efforts by the combined might of our great warriors, our alliance prevailed over the Blood Dragons, despite their cowardly move to bring a cruiser into the battle. I congratulate all those who played a role in bringing these scum to their knees; but, I was not one of them. Though I entered the battle quickly and with great fervor, I was quickly destroyed due to my own incompetence and was lucky to have survived in my escape capsule. For the unnecessary destruction of one of our new bombers, I have apologized personally to our Kumicho . . . I will ensure that this does not happen again.
Honor and glory brothers.
