What am I doing wrong?
Have you installed 4.85? Take a screenshot of the main screen - the first one you see when the game loads and post it.

Ok, Cannon, sorry I didn't reply immediately; I feel asleep at my computer at 4:00am while still trying to figure out what was going wrong as well as sorting out real life finances (men are NOT set up for multitasking LOL).
I've taken a screenshot of the beginning screen when I start up FL using the 4.85 mod.
Here it is...
PS: I assume you are looking for the title "Discovery Freelancer 4.85" which is overlapping a planet up the top left-hand corner of the screen, which is what I took the screenshot of.
Ok, for starters, FL is installed on my D:\ drive. So, I copied what you posted and pasted it into my shortcut's properties... But I changed the "C" to a "D" because otherwise the shortcut would not work.
And for as to what happened... still no server in the server list...

well to my knowledge the server is still down....been down for a few hours...
Ok, I'm going to install Freelancer on my C:\ drive, and re-do everything so that it's all installed there.
I'll completely uninstall FL and FLMM, all mods, etc. etc., and I'll see what happens...
I have no idea how this might even work, but it's my final idea and if it doesn't work... well, I guess I'll have to look into any other methods posted over different forums...
Wish me luck! :-D

Ok, thanks, Errant.Venture.
I'll still re-install everything onto my C drive so that it's ready for when the server is back up.
