Right, I hope this is right place for the thread.
Now I make my question or request simple as it is.
Why are FE outcast NPCs in Taus so tough and spawn like a rabbits, while like Liberty navy / police NPCs are like flies, unable to hurt anybody.
if you stand as unlawful in Liberty, you can have dozen or more navy ships shooting at you and laugh and RP at the same time.
If you do it in Tau-23, you will die exceptionally fast. So I wonder, why it is that way?
All pilots in navy are noobs and only OC pilots are that good? Why the NPCs generally get stronger when moving out of Liberty and towards the Sirius borders. I mean, liberty NPCs are like useless and harmless, except for cap patrols, but they never help in a tradelane. Stop a smuggler in 23 and get swarmed by 6+ OC NPCs who just kill you before anything. And smuggs laugh.
Can either boost / nerf happen, or is it just a dream, provided OCs like the way it is and they constitute most of the players and most of the lul
Because Liberty is (was) the starting house. Having Starflyers flying around in New York with Rogues and Level 7 Guns isnt good. The most of the new people dont know the /restart command and still fly around in their little Starflyer and then still get a Rhino.
Alpha on the other side: There are MK2 sitting around, even Capital Ships or Bombers..I highly doubt you'll see an Outcast sitting around in a Dagger. People dont start there (if they didnt use the command)
"Who is it doing this synthetic type of alpha beta psychedelic funkin'?"
True that.
but that also aids the pirates and lawfuls are out of question. Lawfuls SHOULD be military over the outcast or pirates in general. Think its starting system and fact that most people are in penn + NY simply aids hte pirate alot. I personally think there should be something done about it, since the pirates have way too easy time here and we in border worlds have to be scared for NPCS.
Hell you cant even mine in Tau 37 because of constant OC npcs attacks.

The pirate NPCs are just as weak as the lawful ones. The pirate's NPCs near their bases are just as weak as the NPCs elsewhere.. The lawful NPCs near bases and planets are slightly stronger, and sometimes you have cruiser spawns, which come with a cruiser, two gunboats, and 4 Mk II fighters. The main planets of each system have a battleship patrol as well.. Not to mention the stations have considerable firepower. The pirates do -not- have an advantage.

How about using an escort? That's why mining makes so much money, so you can pay for escorts. Don't want to? Tough, gotta deal with pirates then.
Escort against NPCs well thats fun. Nor to mention how annoying NPCs can be, plus they tend to spawn in number of 6,10, I even met 12 on my sorry butt!
And the pirate NPCs, well I was talkign specifically OCs, sometimes corsair, hell anything outa liberty seems strong.
I play in Gallia. Non-Sabre Outcast NPCs are nothing. If "anything out of Liberty" seems strong... I'd pit the entire supply of Bretonian non-cap NPCs against a single Gallic patrol and bet on the Gallic patrol. Especially those Maquis ones...
Your escort isn't getting paid to fly wing with you and chat- he's getting paid to do work just like you are. Mining is not something you can alt-tab out of, you have to shoot stuff. Same deal for your escort (except they're more likely to spontaneously explode upon tabbing back in). This is why you pay them significantly. Because they're doing work (you're right, dealing with waves of NPCs can be work). Did I mention that you're paying them for work that they're doing, just like you?
Is it maybe possible to do dynamic NPC levels? Like if you are level 5 the NPCs would be much weaker then if you're at level 50. The NPC spawn is triggered by player right?

That would unduly punish traders, whose levels are often quite high if they have a transport-- the LAST sort of ship you want to be fighting in.

You think this is a problem. What about 12 sabres in omicron eta... whos you meet flying to theta jump hole. Half of them are with infernos other half with train cd's.
