Poking around the newly-discovered Kansas system, I stumbled across a strange jump gate, appearing to be alien in design. Three people went through, including one Congressman, all giving strange reports. They should have pictures later. I'm preparing an operation to go through myself.
I'll keep you all posted, but we need to set up some sort of monitoring program for this thing. If you don't hear back from me...

Once through i adjusted my cockpits tint, the system say surrounded by a bright pink cloud with a hot white sun with rings around it, extreme and steady radiation damage fried my hull.

The gate is one way, once inside it cannot be used to return, the only way out was by finding
a jump-hole out of the system, by the time i found the 'tradelanes' (non-operational, of alien
construction) that lead to the hole, my hull was loosing integrity from radiation. it is advised not to enter the system.

In the centre of the system is a swirling cloud of small rocks, inside it was a small un-known planet and another shocking discovery in the system:

this is a picture of an un-known base in the system called 'the shrine' it was also of Alien construction but had several rooms with human amenities, strangely it let me dock.
The parts of the shrine with human access had large barrels of 'Liquid cardamine' as well as artifacts and powder cardamine. i left as soon as i did several repairs to the ship.
I do NOT advise ANYONE to go into the system. i choose to keep the gates location secret to the public, higher congress may contact me for this info

Greetings fellow Junkers.
Yesterday was quite a day. Me and .:j:.Salvager explored the Kansas system , and discovered the same hypergate as Snout . The gate was badly damaged , so it wasnt safe for bigger ships to go in and , as such , Salvager had to stay on the other side. I , on the other hand went in, along with a researcher, which we found along the way.
The system was seemingly empty , but radiation was everywhere. Fortunatelly i found a base in the system... a weird looking thing. When i went in , i found some barrels of liquid cardamine , regular cardamine , and some artifacts. I made some repairs to my ship , and got 300 units of liquid cardamine.
Then i proceded to another planet on the far side of the system, where i found a Jump Hole. I entered it...and i ended up in Pensylvania , just by the Texas JH.
I do not advise such a thrill ride to anyone, you are most likelly to die from radiation than making it out of there alive. Fortunatelly , i had some radiation medication and was on a sturdy CSF. Others may not be as lucky.
But , on to other matters. As i stated above , i have acquired 300 units of liquid cardamine. If anyone happens to know anyone who may be interested in it , contact me.

You will pardon my recent silence on this hub. Rest assured that while I have said little, I have heard and seen everything. A few topics of discussion for your consideration:
- A communique for all Junkers, in regards to Puerto Rico:
You're doing well. Keep it up and let them know that this is not a free-for-all. I'll personally lend a hand once I'm caught up on administrative details. So much has come to a head that it's difficult to keep up.
- Kansas:
Passage into this system is at your own risk. Those of you that have proceeded further than this, stay alive and be ready for a parasite scan and full debriefing once you return.
- Orkney, and what lies beyond:
I strongly advise against proceeding through until a full report on the situation can be shared. We don't know enough to simply march in there; you could spark an irreversible incident. Rumors of an indigenous Junker population should make all of you cautious rather than excited; remember that any who have been living there all along are far removed from the Junkers we know. There may be individuals among us who have known and been travelling back and forth, but we don't know enough as the vast majority who knew nothing. We will also seek out those who kept the ties, and demand to know why we were told nothing.
