After Liberties declaration of war on Rheinland I have been itching to get back into a fighter, I have already served in the navy as a destroyer pilot, but I have always been a fighter/bomber pilot. I am currently on the Navy reserves and awaiting the call to come back to active duty. I have currently been earning a living as a freelance trader and have become attached to my ship and crew and I hope my ship can still operate should I return to active duty.
"Ahhh, I can't believe I'm doing this again." Christina blurted out as she stretched infront of the computer screen.
It had been a while since she had been in active duty with the Liberty Navy. The last time she was on patrol, the organisation had just lost its designation as the southern alliance, and had merged with the northern alliance to form the bulk of the Liberty Navy. Now, it was truely different to the way she had remembered it. Everything had changed, including some of the rules and regulations that she herself had put into force, under the lazy eye of the then Admiral Phelps.
In fact, so much had changed that Christina was no longer entitled her previous post in the Liberty Navy. On one hand, she felt pretty apprehensive about this, but on the other, it would be hardly fair if she regained her old post. Many faces around were new, and would likely raise questions about why she was given a high command post. More importantly, the current circumstances didn't allow any previous officers to regain their rank. The soldiers needed someone they respected and trusted to lead them into battle. If they didn't know her, how could they respect or trust her?
So, it was unavoidable.
Christina tapped her information into the computer, everything from name and age to her history, or rather, what she remembered of it. There wasn't much to remember since she hadn't done anything truely memorable or worthwhile during her leave of absence. After a while at the computer, she proof-read her document and submitted it.
Quote:Forename: Christina
Robinson: Robinson
Age: 37
Height: 172cm
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Previous occupation: I was an officer in the Southern Alliance, later the current Liberty Navy. I ranked from Commodore to Vice Admiral (second in command). During this time, I served the interests of Liberty against groups such as the Order, the Liberty Rogues and the Xenos.
Reason for joining: With the upcoming hostilities with Rheinland, it is my belief that the people of Liberty need anybody they can get their hands on. Previously, I took an extended leave of absence as there were no serious threats to Liberty at the time. This is no longer the case. As well as Rheinland, the Order, the Rogues, Lane Hackers, Xenos, assorted criminals and even the odd nomad presence have been reported as having been trespassing on the lands of this nation. I therefore feel that it is my duty to serve once again in the Liberty Navy, to enforce the will of Liberty on those who would oppose us.
Patiently, she waited for the questionnaire to pop up on her screen.
"It should be here any minute, so I'll put my feet up and relax", she said, to no one in particular.

--- Jacob Keyes Bio ----
I was born in 797 A.S. on Planet Los Angles in the California System. My father Benjamin Keyes was a pilot in the Liberty Police Inc (LPI) and my mother was a receptionist for a law firm on Planet Los Angles. My early child hood was thankfully blessed without much trouble. The only problem was that I didnt see my dad as much as I would have wished. He was based out on Fort Bush for long periods of time so I only saw him at the end of each month.
When I was thirteen and just becoming a teenager my father was killed in action. I still remember the day when a LPI officer knocked on our front door and told us that he had been shot down by hostile ships. He was on patrol in the Detroit Debris Field when he came across several Liberty Rogue fighters escorting a Rogue freighter. They opened fire on him straight away. He was outnumbered four to one and sadly he suffered a catastrophic fuel leak that ignited and destroyed the whole ship. My mother took a long time to get used to the fact hell never be here again.
A few years later my mother finally moved and found Lance Harper. He was a Deep Space Engineering freight pilot who would pass by Los Angles every now and then. They eventually grew very close to each other and mother remarried. We then moved to Manhattan with him.
When I turned seventeen I got a job at one of the Manhattan Equipment dealers. All I did was put the newly bought equipment onto the ships. It wasnt much but it got me my first credits. I eventually bought a scrappy starblazer from a retired Liberty Security Force (LSF) pilot. I used that to escort traders between Liberty and Bretonia in the Magellan and Cortez systems.
After a few years of seeing pirates first hand I decided to enroll in the navy. I didnt like the way they prey on Libertys innocent civilians so I wanted to protect Liberty. I finished my escorting the trader I was working with to Planet Leeds, flew back to New York and landed on West Point Military Academy to enroll in Navy training.
Alice was born in Kyushu, as a child she grew up in a rough neighbourhood. Her father was a Kusarai National, who was a member of the Kusarai Navy but some how got himself dishonourably discharged after a incident with the government and fled from Kyushu to the New York system, bringing his Wife and Alice who at the time was 5 years old. Shortly after they moved her father started using Cardamine and became a frequent substance user, and a suspected dealer. She was always picked on because of her accent or the way she looked. At the age of 11 Alice’s father died, murdered buy some Xeno’s while he was trying to help a shipment of Cardamine into Manhattan.
After the death of Alice’s father she was left with a small fortune, of which was split between Alice and her mother. Later as time went on Alice’s mother fell to depression and committed suicide just before Alice’s 16th birthday.
Alice spent the next year pondering her situation and what she intended to do with her life, there was not much she could do, she could read and write and had also attended flight school for many years but she was unsure as to what career she would enter into.
Alice soon after became a pilot in the Navy as a Independent, she worked for several years developing her skills.
One night she was sitting at the Bar when she was approached by a woman who worked for the Liberty Navy after several drinks and quite a long conversation they decided to head home.
They shared a cab (commonly known as a taxi) home, and their conversation somehow managed to work its way around to Alice’s current job situation. Being an Independent Navy officer wasn’t really the ideal job there was nowhere near as much organization and she was only called up now and then for simple missions, she knew she was destined for much more. So the Young Lieutenant suggested that Alice should head to the LN headquarters first thing on Monday morning and lodge an application and do the test.
Alice although sometimes headstrong and stubborn, will follow any orders of her superiors’, and strives to better herself in any way she can, her dream is to rid Manhattan of crime and serve and protect her house, although she knows she cannot do this single handed, however she also knows that every little bit helps her house faction.
She hopes, and will look forward to joining.

Voice Feed---------Greetings to the Liberty Navy. I was born on Planet Denver, Colorado. My name is Issac Baker. I am 25, Male and I have come to request to join the Navy. I do not have much combat experience sirs being the son of a DSE transporter piolet but I'm sure with time and training I can improve. (West Point does courses so that might be a good place to start.) I guess you are wanting to know my reasons for wanting to join the Navy. I guess the only way to explain that is to tell a bit about my past, if you don't mind of course Officers......
As I said before my father worked for Deep Space Engineering for as long as I could remember, he loved the cash that would flow in after a run was complete and he taught how to piolet our small transport. We flew around together, father and son, exploring the stars. Or so I though. My father was more intent on exploring for new trade routes I figured. He became even more greedy after my mother left us. She couldn't stand the way we would always be away.
I entered a slight depression after that, and then one night I realized, it was the money that had tore apart our family, and how it had been used so unwisely. The next day my father said that he had received a massive tip of a highly profitable run from a mercenary on Pittsburgh. When I found out it was a smugglers run I was outraged. "Slaves?!" I had screamed. "That'll get you sent to the Sugerland for sure!" But my father was bound be greed and replied buy talking about all the profit it would make.
A slave freight was just coming in to Alcatraz but a freelancer was needed to bump it up to Rochester base, then Junkers could handle it from there. Little to no conversation was exchanged during the transaction of the pods, everyone knew how much the fresh slaves were worth. We proceeded to Rochester base but I could see a problem. Looking at my charts I could see that we would have to go straight past West Point and Planet Manhattan! Things didn't seem good. Now I realize why those pirate scum didn't want to send one of their own men with the shipment, cowards.
We sneaked up along the Detroit debris field. I didn't like this at all and told my dad to turn back but he was paranoid. Suddenly, out of nowhere a Liberty Navy patrol swepped in. They encircled us with expert finesse and skill. I watched in awe as my father watched in horror. They said we were under arrest unless we dropped the cargo. But my dad had a trick up his sleeve. In a Blaze of fire the turrets launched their photonic payloads towards a defender. The ship was destroyed, in that instant I hit the 'jettison cargo' control and sent the pods into space, not in fear of destruction I realize, but in a wanting to free the citizens from their life of slavery. We were under arrest regardless and my father lashed out at me for spoiling his run. I asked myself why credits had to come above me or those peoples liberty?
Four years later he was released from the Huntsville. He didn't want to see me and I had since been staying on a Naval battleship watching the Navy springing to action to destroy the insurgent pirates and oppressors of Liberty. I told him I wanted to join the Navy but he said they were cash obsessed and power hungry. I disagreed completely stating that the Navy use their money to protect Liberty from all danger. Regardless, he forced me to work on his new ship, another small transport. We were on our first run when they struck, Rouges and Outcasts Lashed out from the shadows of space. "You failed us Baker! Those slaves cost good money." Without hesitation missiles came hurtling towards the ship. I made for the cargo pods and buried myself beneath the containers. The noise was deafening but the integrity of the pod held. I was rescued by a patrol of passing Defenders. The were shocked that I had survived, but it turns out I was the shocked one when I learn't my father was dead.
The money, the pirates, they had destroyed my life! I inherited enough credits to buy a civilian star tracker and was on my way in an Armoured transport to purchase one when one of the officers that rescued me asked
"Have you ever thought of joining the Navy?"
"Yes!" I replied.
"And, why didn't you?"
I told him because of my father, he said I should come with him and I came in his ship to the Navy requiting office. "Good luck" He told me.
....And so here I am. I wish to join the Navy because I do not want more innocent people like my father to become corrupt. I do not want to see more innocent people die at the hands of villains like pirates or become enslaved. I lay down my services to protect civilian lives. I do not wish to stuff my face with donuts all day with the LPI, I want to fight on the front lines. I will follow the orders of my commanding officers and defend Liberty from outside threats. For honor, for the peoples liberty, and for Liberty but never, for credits. Thank you sirs.

Due to the raising tensions between Rheinland and Liberty, matters of greater concern arrived, I have left out the recruitment office for quite a while now. However, new people are indeed needed in our ranks, in war. Today, I have reviewed the applications that were sent to my office box. The results are as following.
Mr. Issac Baker, Mr. Jacob Keyes and Ms. Aliceil Sinclair, you have all been accepted into the Liberty Navy as recruits. Crafty Ukon is a Liberty citizen, born on Dallas from a woman who was raped by a Rogue. Despite the fact that Crafty was a Rogue's son, he showed excellent honor and chivalry as a young man. He joined the Bounty Hunters as a supply runner for a while, before joining the Hunters themselves. He apprehended many Xenos, Rogues and Outcasts before full adulthood, and by that time, had adapted comfortably to life in space. He quit the Hunters after a while, and worked as a small-time police officer on Houston. There was less action than he liked, so as he was walking out of the police station, a Liberty Navy recruitment poster caught his eye. Wanting to contribute fully to Liberty's safety and growth, Crafty strode confidently into the recruitment office...
