He has tried that, he reinstalled 3 times, i guided him through the entire process.
It's just one of those things that works for everyone but a few people, someone is always going to have an issue with something, it just seems his vista(yes, it's 64 bit) and Commodo firewall don't mix

Thought he had reinstalled Commodo those three times - not the entire setup.
If this is the case, I'm at a loss. Perhaps direct him to the Vista fixes thread?
I have been through multiple 'Vista fix' threads I am afraid.
I have reinstalled both Comodo and Freelancer multiple times (along with a whole host of other stuff to see if that had any effect).
Comodo is set to allow Freelancer as a trusted program when it (Comodo) is installed.
The only reason I have been playing online recently is because I have been relying on Windows Firewall.
I do unfortunately suspect Ogris may be right, it is probably just one of those things that works for some and not for others.
Comodo is notoriously hard to configure though, so I would not be surprised if there is something I can change to get it working. I however have yet to find anything.
For people who are posting saying they are running Comodo and Freelancer together just fine, are you running under Vista or Vista 64?
