My only suggestion would be to reduce the price of the fighter upgrades a bit, so you don't have to spend 20 million to be combat ready.
Edit: the lower level armour upgrades are good for a transport who doesn't wish to sacrifice the 20 (or above) cargo space for mkVIII or capital ship upgrades. I bought a 2.1 upgrade, takes up 5 cargo and that's all I need to survive the npcs I face on that trader. Much better than paying extra money (and 15 extra cargo, which adds up when you trade a lot).
Just a quick questoin, a bit off topic: Is the capship armor working on smaller craft? I've got one mounted on my Anki, and it doesn't seem to work. Now, is it just limited to capships, or is it a bug? Anybody can answer this one?

For the first two or so, you could get universal armor upgrades at lesser cargo, but for more money.
Besides, what do you care if they're sacrificing they're cargo space?
Also, Necromancy is bad. No more grave-digging.
A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
Actually, this issue is still an issue in my opinion.
The top Universal armor is still too expensive for something as necessary as guns. (Since it hasn't changed at all from 4.84)
The amor multiplication values of the lower armors can be changed all they like, everyone that gets into a fight (read: everyone) still goes for the mark 8, so it doesn't make a difference in the end.

This is true. Why DOES the armor cost more than the ship itself? Hell, I may as well save up another 15mil and get a gunship.

Stuff might go a lot faster if the upgrade didn't automatically increase the amount of healing that nanobots do by the multiplier amount. Unfortunately that seems to be hardcoded into the game. Friggin limitations.
While being quite funny, your sig was the biggest one i've ever seen so far. No more than 700x250 please. ~utrack http://pastebin.com/SYQXBufs
The cargo values on various armours were originally thought to work in conjunction with ammo cargo requirements. You would choose more armour or more ammo.
' Wrote:Well, I don't like the fact that people just spam their SNs and MRs. You say it takes skill. It takes a single PUSH of a button and some aim. TRUE DOGFIGHTING, like in Vanilla, was more than jousting. It was:
Charge, shoot, swerve to dodge enemy fire.
Flip around quickly, and follow it. NEVER REPEAT.
Move onto another fighter, who should be somewhere around you. Dogfight.
Playing SP on 2x difficulty is amazing.
You ever fly a Light Fighter? Look into one. A light fighter that jousts heavier ships is almost always a dead light fighter.
