How about civilian shipsnes and a few more of the big ones wouldnt be too bad I assume the mercs and freelancers would want more unfactionized ships to choose from.

Been here since Discovery 4.77 (lurk mode engaged)

i was thinking in some ships that would be cool rp additions:

Casino Ship: Some Kind of Luxury Liner with lots of Neon and lights (and heavy weapons).
Racing Pods: Modified LF with disruptor Mines (is this possible?)
Science Ship: Modified House transports with antenas and weird devices and almost 1 special weapon mounting.
Medical Frigates and Shuttles, for some kind of Sirius Red Cross
The I.S.H.: Independent Space Habitacle, some kind of expensive Apartament whit a lot of glass and Freighter Shield but 5 of max speed and unable to cruise speed (Imagine them Hovering Near Big and Important Stations like Newark and the Ring)

why would a casino ship have heavy weapons...
I could of course make a pod... and science ship well, all the exploration ship could do...
medic... hmkay, but how do you intend to RP that?
ISH... I think a better name for that would be the zoner juggernaught lol

On that note, medical and science themed cargo pods would be really neat.

Throw a medical pod on a transport and there's a medic ship!

Throw some sciencey pods on one and you can discover!

The casino MUST have big guns, in the real life i you try mess with the casino you will have a very hard time, lets say, you try to run without paying or something else the casino ship will blow you Up at instant, i think a CD and 2 Big guns will be enough to dissuade to anyone to do something stupid.

The space house may have another name, the medical ships could roam War Zones with refugees and pharmaceuticals, the especific cargo pods are a good Idea, but i really like to flying some kind of medical shuttle.

The "Renzu" line was a place holder. They can be fixed up.

Or at least that was the idea.

Pretty much every remaining HW ship could use a facelift... Though I rather like the Kadesh line as is for some reason. They're just rather excellent.

I cannot, in all honesty, think of a single fighter faction that is in "need" of any kind of shipline at the moment. Virtually every single one has access to one manner of toy or another at the very least. The only ones, afaik, whom lack at least one specialized ship at the moment are the Xenos and and the Bundies. Of those two only the Xenos would be unable to grab a toy from someone else.

A number of midrange transports would be excellent as well.

sorry for this somewhat big grave digging, though since I am indeed over with school, and am over with the general graphism works I promised, I can now start working on 3D.

On order of what to do;

1-Unioner gunship

2-Xenos ships, along with agriculture utility craft, as requested by Kuraine

3-Remodel of the Liberty carrier

4-completion of the Renzu replacement line

5-LPI and RFP fighters (on hold)

Random idea with no specific order

-eventual remodelling of the firefly?
-new station models (rheinland, bretonia)
-a slave freighter

I am facing some problems right now; the liberty carrier. I don't know what sort of configuration to do. I really wish to integrate a flat deck concept, but that is yet useful in space. Otherwise, we have the choice of a star destroyer style of hangar; but where do you put that on a li ship? But we can also have a hangar like the old Li carrier style.
the actual one is inspired of the battlestars.

Any ideas?

Slaver fighter please! I did a sketch a while ago, and I envisioned it to be like a oversized boarding pod for ripping up Liners.

yeah that's an interesting thought. But maybe more as a slaver bomber? I'd assume they'd fly pretty big stuffs to haul up people, and a bomber is more precise when it comes down to tearing away armor.

Now there's an idea... Probably more appropriate as well, seeing as Fighters couldn't scratch a Liner. I suppose you'd have to make some changes to the image to make it bomberish though. Maybe add a largeish vent, or a pod onto the underside to act as a torpedo launcher?

It'd need to keep the bay door on the front clear though - that's the boarding area.

EDIT: Or just widen those vents on either side of the body and enlongate them so they end under the wings, come to think of it.
