I have xfire but i hate it with a passion....which is why i have a vent....a majority of the people on it however are for Combat Arms, yet after killing about 17000 people its kind of boring....and others players have moved on to other games.....so its getting empty.
So if your bored, or just want to stop in and say hi, contact me via pm and i will send you the vent info. I believe the current number of slots on our vent is about 50. But if we get a large influx, we can up the amount of slots accordingly.
I use xfire. Its just one of the programs that sits in the bottom right hand corner of my screen that I don't know anything about that I don't really use all the time but cbf getting rid of it:P

Actually my hopes was....that if enough ppl joined the Ventrilo server, we could get more practice RPing...in person
I am a full admin, so i made a temporary Freelancer channel since no one has responded yet.
Vent however could have usefulness in mock battles on a large scale, its easier, in my opinion to tell someone to move, then type it, in the heat of battle.
yes, there is a teamspeak, the information is floating around somewhere. personaly, I like ventilo better, it's more streamline for me (and very quiet compared to TS. I hate that thing that goes "Player Joined' and stuff). Administrating for vent is very easy with a few rcon commands and so is organizing moderators and other admins.
xfire rocks if you know how to use it. In-game messaging is very
convenient, because you don't have to alt+tab for messages and the new feature is the in-game web browser. live broadcasting is in its beta stages, and xfire can record video and pictures (ss)
