/set diemsg command?

What would be really useful is to get a command that temporarily turns off messages by color (dark blue, red, player messages).
That way in a mass-battle you wont get all the red stuff distracting you, and when you want to take screenes or videos you can turn everyrthing off.

Or is there already a way to do that?

Yeah, I was confused about this cause my friend said that he didn't see my death message. then again he may not have looked that hard

I mean all the red stuff. Death messages of people that are not in your system, depearting player, and so on. Seems the game decides to put the unimportant stuf in red, thought maybe there is an easy way to shut it off. Or all text and hud display (like 'turret view' and so on) so oyu can take some neat pictures or videos.
