Also I need you to sign a document to say you wont pass on any knowledge you obtain during your time in the LSF. For your training period you will be assigned to the Department of Homeland Security, where the relevant department heads will watch and observe you. Liberty Security Force Application
Name: Jonathan "Shryke" Sheppard Date Of Birth: July 14th, 794 AS Sex: Male Previous Jobs: Liberty Navy pilot Skills: Certified pilot in all ship classes Military History: Patrolling New York system, combat against Rhinewehr ships in Bering system Place of Birth: Lower Queens, Planet Manhattan Department Interested in Joining: Department of Intelligence
Have you ever piloted a fighter/bomber craft? Piloted a myriad of fighters, from light to very heavy (majority of experience in a Guardian). Have yet to fly a bomber but it is one of my goals to attain as soon as possible.
Why do you wish to join the LSF? A couple of days ago I encountered a Liberty Rogue on the edge of the Badlands. Upon pursuit, I scanned his cargo and noticed several Bounty Hunter ships in his possession. The Rogue informed me he had no ill will towards the Navy and made a deal: he would release his prisoners and I would let him go. Rather than risk the lives of the BH pilots in the firefight, I agreed. He released the prisoners and I picked them up, taking them to the Missouri, while he retreated into the Badlands. To my shock, I am now under investigation. Apparently, the lives of 19 Bounty Hunter pilots were not worth as much as one less Liberty Rogue. Hence, I am seeking a new branch of Liberty to serve.
Do you have a criminal record, or have been in trouble with the Liberty law? If so, for what reasons? Apart from a possible discharge from the Liberty Navy, no.
Do you have any skills, competences and/or personality traits that could be useful towards the LSF? I have several contacts within the Junkers, and the aforementioned Liberty Rogue (who overheard my chatter with Missouri) as well. In case of outright invasion from the Rhinewehr, I could use these contacts to convince the Junkers and Rogues to fight off our common enemy.
Tell us about yourself, that wasn't already put on the application so far. I was born to an upper mid-class family on Manhattan. My parents were both mid level managers at Cryer. It was expected of me to continue the family tradition but the idea of spending the rest of my days in an office horrified me. After high school I enrolled in West Point for military training. I received a commission in the Liberty Navy and have been serving ever since.

Mr Sheppard, first off you should do a bit of research on our departments in the Liberty Security Force. The Department of Intel does not exist any more as it has been renamed by its head (Me).
Secondly, to get into my department you need to show you are capable for deep undercover or recon etc.
Finally, your application will be reviewed and we will let you know in due time if we want you in our ranks. That is all.

* Name: Lindi Fox
* Date Of Birth: June 10th, 789 A.S.
* Sex: Female
* Previous Jobs: LPI Detective (I worked planetside, not with the LPI Space Arm) and SWAT (but planetside)
* Skills: P.h.D in Criminal Investigation and Unlawful Thinking
* Military History: As I said before, I was an Detective within LPI and SWAT member, both planetside.
* Place of Birth: Newark Station, New York system (but I've lived in Planet Manhattn my whole life)
* Department Interested in Joining: Department of Homeland Security
All questions below must be answered, in order for your application to be considered.
Have you ever piloted a fighter/bomber craft?
Yes, I have piloted both fighter class and bomber class crafts.
Why do you wish to join the LSF?
Well, like I said, I was a detective within the LPI, but that was only for work experience, and to pay for my University P.h.D. degree. Now that I've got it, I decided I would move on so something a little more serious, something that affects the whole of Liberty rather than just Planet Manhattan. I don't care if the public knows my name or not, I just want this country to be safer.
Do you have a criminal record, or have been in trouble with the Liberty law? If so, for what reasons?
No, I'm perfectly clean.
Do you have any skills, competences and/or personality traits that could be useful towards the LSF?
Well, like I said, I have a P.h.D. degree in Criminal Investigation and Unlawful Thinking. Sure, it doesn't mean I'll be able to accurately predict when some pirate/terrorist is going to attack, but I know when a pirate/terrorist is going to want to leave or stay. 90% of the time anyways.
Tell us about yourself, that wasn't already put on the application so far. (//short bio of the character, minimum 2-3 lines)
Well, basically, I was born in Newark station to a single parent, my mother (also a former LSF agent) died at childbirth. My father was a former Deputy Chief for the LPI working in Planet Manhattan, so he really was the one who got me to go get a P.h.D. in both Criminal Investigation and Unlawful Thinking. He said my mother had them both too, which motivated me, along with the fact that its pretty difficult to get a P.h.D. in two subjects. It takes a lot of time and effort and the people who make it through both are pretty rare.
Oh, sorry, didn't mean to boast about myself there...
Well, as soon as I managed to get my masters in Criminal Investigation, I managed to get a job in Planet Manhattan with the LPI. I would've made more money off becoming a private detective, but I figured that it would be more useful if I joined LPI, mainly because it would help more people, and the investigation that would get solved would have more of an impact then simply finding out 'whether this guy's wife was cheating on him or not'.
I managed to make it to Detective First Grade in less than a year (in case you don't know, there's five grades of detectives, Fifth Grade being the lowest and First the highest). There was basically this Bank Robbery, except the bank had closed down and there was no money in it. The other First Grade detective figured they probably hadn't known the bank was closed down, but I noticed that the bank had closed down pending an investigation about Artifact Smuggling. I was trained in SWAT too, so when we stormed the bank, we managed to rescue all the hostages and find a huge, and I mean HUGE, stash of alien artifacts. The next day, I got promoted.
My father pretty much instilled the value's in me that I have today. I personally consider discipline the most important, and I don't mind taking order's, because I know when I join LSF, those order's I take will be for the betterment of Liberty, and that's all that matter's. It doesn't matter who gets in the way, as long as the objectives are completed, and that means following orders. If the objectives are completed, Liberty is safe. There is no other option. There's completing the objectives or failing them. Failing them is completely unacceptable, especially for an organization such as the LSF, whic is known to accept failure. I guess that's another reason I want to join the LSF.
More questions will be asked to you, during your interview. If this application is approved, you will be put in our AIT ( agent in training) course for two weeks, where we will determine if you're fit to be a agent in the LSF.

How long have you been playing freelancer?
The whole summer. Around 46 days now.
How much do you know about the RP of the LSF?
Well, I consider the LSF a like the CIA or the DoD (Department of Defense) and the NSA. From what I've seen (on TV at least), many of these people are extremely intelligent, fast, calculating, some of them cold or even psychopaths, and very secretive. They also don't break easily (in torture), and always know what their getting into and are willing to accept the consequences. They also do whatever is necessary to complete the objective, whether its saving lives or killing them. They know not to question authority. Some of them know how to accept failure, while others don't count on it and do whatever it takes, even if it means their life. Like I said, most of this stuff is from TV, mainly the series 24, I've seen every episode and know almost everything about every characters in it. Its basically my favorite show. Some stuff I also got from movies, such as the Bourne trilogy and Vantage Point.
What should an LSF member do (Tasks, RP style, etc)?
*Complete objectives first, if they don't have any objectives, create their own and act on it, whether its taking out criminals or enforcing the embargo.
*I believe their RP should mainly be the fact that they don't care if they are called a hero or not, but whether they saved or changed the lives of innocent people (preferably not from Rheinland...). If necessary, be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice, and only to make educated decisions so that they don't get other people killed, unless its absolutely necessary, so that more people can be saved or rescued. It doesn't matter whether their civilians or Navy, their Libertonians, and that's all that matters. We have the power to do something if they don't, and we should use that power wisely (in other words to prevent traders from being pirated or terrorists from killing innocents).
Have you read AND understood the server rules of discovery?
Yeah
Have you ever been sanctioned or banned for violating a server rule in the last 6 months? please provide links to the treads if so.
No, I'mm clean.
Will you agree to uphold the server rules at all time on your =LSF= characters?
Yeah, I don't want to get kicked out of the LSF, so yeah.
Do you understand that violation of these rules could result in your removal from the LSF, depending on the rule broken?
Well I would do the same thing if I were the director, so yes I do.
Do you agree to respect all players on the server, admins, and members of this faction?
Yeah, I see no reason not to.
Please state 3 rules from Section 2, Section 3, and Section 5 of the discovery server rules in your own words if possible. (sometime better wording is impossible, we know that)
Section 2:
1. Using any other mod other than Discovery Freelancer 4.85 is considered cheating because they might change the stats of the game.
2. Creating multiple characters to donate money to one character. This is illegal since most people earn their money on Discovery, where as this is just a shortcut.
3. One person using more than one computer is illegal, since they can play to characters at the same time, which is bad because stuff like this can happen:
Computer 1 is an unlawful and can hold Computer 2 as a hostage to get money from other lawfuls.
Section 3:
1. Any swearing, racist/sexist comments are not allowed because it can hurt the other person's feelings and all (there is actually a law against this where I live called the CyberBullying act so yeah).
2. OOC (Out Of Character) chat is illegal, since its an RP server. It can only be used for emergencies, such as a bug or being stuck (although you are expected to know the /stuck code). Admins can take away some of your credits depending on how badly you OOC'ed and how many times its happened before.
3. Pretending to be an Admin without their permission is not allowed at all and they could possibly take away some of your money and equipment.
Section 5:
1. You have to RP some form of engagement notice before you attack someone, which basically means you have to say "That's it, you're going straight to hell. Say hi to the devil for me will ya?" (or more commonly used "Engaging hostiles!").
2. Don't ever ram a capital ship (a gunboat class or larger). Don't ever ram a capital ship, no matter what.
3. Don't kill someone when their docking/undocking from a planet or a base. Technically, for RP purposes, when someone docks/undocks, the planet/base shields them too.
Will you be active at least once a week?
Its the holidays, so yeah.
On a scale from 1-10 how would you rate your fighting skills?
6/10, I have gotten a few well placed SNAC's quite a bit.
On a scale from 1-10 how would you rate your in-game Role-playing skills?
Your application has been rejected by our evaluation team. After several reports about your attempt to fake your ship as a LSF one, we cannot accept you within our ranks.
I really apology it was my mistake and after i was preachet i immediately changet my nick. It was before I read all rules etc. Now I know everything about server and LSF and I'm completely ready to server for law. I'm so sorry and I'd really appreaciate if you could re-value your decision.
