I've only read the first ten pages of the "Direct View" and I can see ALOT of work has gone into it.
Brilliant job guys, this is encouraging me to try out the nomad role-play.
To bad I have no idea how....

[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.

[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

Hyung, I'll be honest, I don't understand the relationship chart either. I'm not asking you to remake it, but further explanation would be nice. I don't study that kind of stuff, so you might need to dumb it down to explain it too me. It's not that it's a bad chart, I just look at it and can't understand what it's trying to tell me.

That pictoral sits completely alone, as if it were its own section. It needs some help.
I -do- understand it rather well. And I'm suggesting that, one, an RTFM mindset is first of all a disgustingly elitist. mindset, and that two, if you place a pictoral in a document, it deserves a caption, no matter how simple it is.
If people have trouble, any trouble, understanding information in your nomad lore document, and you want them to follow it while they fly their morphs or their keepers, the onus is on you to make it clear and understood.
You've no call to stick a pictoral in and act like we're all stupid or nonesensical for not quite knowing exactly what you were thinking.
Well, the diagram shows a rather simplified comparison of common terms used throughout everyday communication, stuff that is as common as word "me". Stuff we live with and use as the basic blocks in our logic. Where is the threshold that separates "we" from "them"? Technically it should help to get some basic grasp on these terms, to see which terms are applicable for them which are not. But then again, such stuff requires some degree of abstraction and it's not surprising at all that it can confuse at first. Kinda the reason why I asked Nathan to make a visual diagram out of it is that explaining it all in text took me several hours of nearly non-stop text typing resulting in a very huge wall of text that I think was more difficult to comprehend than a single image diagram.
Why such complexity? Typically when some alien specie is being created we typically borrow concepts from our own societies, shuffling and mixing them a bit, but at the end in the result it's often pretty easy to figure out which parts has been taken from where, and quickly all the sense of those beings alien wanes off revealing the naked skeleton of misplaced bones. So this takes a slightly different route, pretty much it's a part of the roleplay experiment I was taking with the faction, exploring further far reaches and horizons of the roleplay by borrowing elements from a different area. Due to my profession I tend to work with various databases, networks, arranging information and data types into complex relative and hierarchical structures, and so this was largely inspired by them. Splitting to the very basic terms in order to create a complex structure.
The year is 23.07.903 A.S. Standard Sirius Time.
You walk in feeling slightly silly and embarrassed for even being here. You hope your mates don't find you reading this "stuff" as it would be very embarrassing for a Liberty Rogue/LSF agent/Outcast to be caught with this very explicit and indepth information. You shuffle over to an empty desk, one of the only remaining seats in the packed auditorium. Weirdly enough, you get the feeling that the last guy before you took the last empty desk as well. Oh well, no time for that Rudo Paradox. We have Nomad sexuality to explore!
A shrivelled up extremely old guy walks in. He's tapping a cane and wheezing as he walks to the front. Hyung Soong is his name. He looks slightly Kusarian. It's hard to tell under his extravagant baldness. He stops for awhile in front of the classroom, just staring at nothing ... he stares for so long, some of the other students start looking at the spot on the wall where Hyung is looking. But he breaks off and continues on his way to his desk. He gives out a large sigh, and sits in his chair. He pulls out a large book, thumbs it open casually and begins to speak. The room is hushed with the expectant sounds of academy students filling up their brain-nano drives.
Old Hyung puts up a slide on the projector. This academy projector was on of those new ones, you know, the K969-self loading, top heavy , sleek design, curved and shiny ones that project the images directly into the students visual cortex? Yeah that one. Almost every home has one these days. This is the university grade one. Slightly better quality than the home version. Ok. Sorry. I lied. *Much* better quality.
Hyung waves his arms and you see the pointer in your visual cortex moving relativistically along with Hyungs arm movements. He continues speaking...
"This image shows the complexity of humans to other humans. Each human is made up of related parts, and in some circles of humanity they are considered "... Hyung sniffs..."cannon. There are four humans on this image." He gesticulates his arms and the red pointer pings each human 'sphere' in turn. He continues, "This image is a VERY simplified version of reality. There are a number of relationships that have been omitted from this lecture and image, as the relevance of those relationships, can be followed alongside with what we already have here.
Now,"... here Hyung coughs and wheezes a bit, ... "Instead of using specified humans of male/female characteristic models, I have used more simplified genotypes, as in what we call Homo-erectus cum homo-sapiens, or more commonly known as, human beings. Sexuality does not come into this lecture, apart from the well known fact that men like more sex more often than women." Hyung turns his head and Hacks and coughs little bits of [color=#33FFFF]Donut, man all over his desk. He continues... "Now, to clarify, each human being is considered a separate entity to other human beings. The only things that comes close to a merger of individual beings in humanity is coitus, and some certain Athenian meditation rituals. Aside from these, humans are pretty much individualistic, self-centric, and autonomous entites in their own capability." Hyung paused here and gulped down some AltaerisBear. Refreshed he continued. " As you can see at the top left, we have a human called 'Me'.
This term, 'me' shows the relationship and self-definition that comes from life experiences, what people tell us, how they beat us when we were young, what we like to do, where we like to go, what defines us as 'separate' from other 'me's, how we relate to our 'enemies' and so on and so forth. Now," Hyung gesticulates wildly and the red pointer in your visual cortex does a Jimmy number on your retinals. "...The next two circles out from 'me' are the Body and Gender circles, respectively. These are placed and linked fairly close together. Characteristics of both genders can be in both genders. Students! Note that this 'Gender' has nothing to do with human sexuality. That is a different issue that is not covered in this course. Now, going back to 'Gender', Your gender can determine your body. If you are masculine, then you will usually end up with a penis. If you are feminine you will usually end up with a vagina. That is based on genes and chromosomes. However, personality characteristics also come into play here. You can be a male, with effeminate characteristics, OR you can be a female with masculine tendencies. Again this has nothing to do with your sexuality, or your sexual preferences. Gender and sexuality are two distinctly different things."
Old Hyung pauses here and looks out the window. He mutters softly to himself... "Oh how I wish you would not bug me at this time. I have had a Titanic struggle with you for a long time old friend. Yet you seem to still have the Tenacity to buzz in my mind..."
"Professor Soong?", one of the students called out. "What? oh er... nothing...where was I?" Hyung replied. He continued his lecture, "...Oh yes! Gender. Now the next circle is Soul. Some circles of humanity believe there are three non corporeal parts to a human being. The soul is an integral part of what a human being is. It is where a sense of morality comes from and is trained into. It is our compass in life. It can be damaged, or fixed. It is the centre of our emotions, the subconscious, the primal parts of us, the instinctual drives. It is what makes us 'like' certain things, and 'dislike' others. It can be programmed or twisted."
"The next circle is the Mind. Now, notice that the mind is bigger than the body circle. This is illustrated quite deliberately in this fashion to indicate that the mind, while tethered to the body, is larger than the body. It is a larger part of the human that makes 'me' to be 'me' I have a separate mind from you students, and apart from certain gifted individuals of Turkish descent, humans do not connect to each others mind.
"Now here is another part that has always been difficult to define. The Spirit of man is that other part of us that makes us human. We feel with our Soul, we think with our Mind, we *Are* with our Spirits. People have reported being able to move in and out of their bodies, be fully aware, and sense and feel feelings. Others have had near-death, or death and clinical death out of body experiences, and have retained knowledge from that time. Even today, we cannot explain it in a satisfactory scientific way. When the Malcalypsse666 happened in the Second Sirius-Nomad war, many people were reported clinically dead, and yet some came back, one or two days later, remembering top secret information, and other things that they couldn't possibly have known, unless they were party to those conversations and events."
Here, Old Professor Hyung paused again in his flowing Korrd of words to mutter, "and terrible days those were too. It's enough to put the Grimreaper into someone."
"Now, I think it's time for a break. We shall reconvene here in more or less 2 or three days. And yes, you fellow, hoodlum with the Heavy Metal Queen jacket on. I'd like you to follow me to the King, vailant sir. We will be carrying lots of those merry tinker bells to him.

My nomad is a she.
1.0 Nothing has changed. So why should I? RTFM is a perfectly good reply, considering your rejection of the Lore as canon anyway, and of the work I personally have put into it. It's not elitist in the slightest. It's "I have better things to do with my time." Besides. The keepers always get accused of elitism. Since I'm now not part of them, I can be as elitist as I like, Edit: to make up for all the times I was called an elitist so and so and was not in fact. I call it Karma.
2.0 the caption is in the picture.
3.0 No, the onus is on the person to understand and LEARN. I will not spoonfeed everything to everyone. Spoonfeeding is unnecessary when people are mature enough to learn by themselves.
4.0 don't act stupid then. Or say stupid things like "waaah elitism".
4.5 I'm glad your nomad is a she. Does it matter any? Mine was. or was sometimes when i felt like it. Other times a dog. or a little boy. Once I was nothing. One time I was this horrible THING with fangs and teeth that turned its mouth inside out as it approached the poor little trader. And another time I was a spider. Other times I posed as someone's father/mother/brother/sister.
5.0 Watch this space for the rest of the TL;DR
