Long have I waited until we could strike back at our enemies where it'll hurt the most! We now have the capability of grabbing them by their throats! The Ayakashi-Maru will provide for the much needed support we so long desired for. Based on the Ayakashi-Maru, our wings of fighters and bombers can now swiftly attack our enemies, as distance will have matter little to them with the Ayakashi-Maru leading the charge!
Our prize from the Eighty, our new Flagship, will strike fear in the hearts of our enemies! Now they can no longer run from us, for we shall follow them to whatever distant star system they may hide in! But still we must be careful, as we now know what happened to the Namura. Our Flagship will not be unbeatable in battle, and our enemies will no doubt bring everything they got to bring her down. We shall not let her share the same fate as the Namura! With our superior weaponry, skill and bravery, the Ayakashi-Maru will indeed be a huge threat to our enemies!

My people,
The Gas Miners Guild possesses a fully operational flagship more powerful than the Namura, which we recently discovered was lost in hostile territory. I assure you, we will not make the same mistake twice. The Ayakashi-Maru will instill fear upon her enemies, leaving smoking husks in her wake.
I believe a new age is at hand. We are miners, warriors, fishermen, politicians, all from Planet Honshu, the Kakyou, as well as other worlds in the four great houses, and the periphery. We are not all of common lineage, but that is irrelevant. We are a people, proudly united by our common goals and strong leaders. What we have accomplished thus far is inspiring; from our successes to the battlefield to our uncontested control over the most plentiful gas resources in Sirius.
Our explorers are actively searching for a new Haimaato (homeland). My people, I have faith that it is only a matter of time before our ultimate goal is realized.

My people,
The rumors are true. The Guild Masters have been invited to a diplomatic conference on Planet Baden Baden to normalize relations with Rheinland. I understand certain dissidents' points of view; six of my own ancestors died in the Eighty. We must put the past behind us. We live in a changing Sirius, but one thing remains constant: The universal demand for HFuel. Have faith in your leaders. Remain unified and proud, and we will return to a stronger Guild.
I understand a conference is scheduled in Rheinland. I will transport the initial load of H-fuel into Rheinland as support to our offerings. Assuming the conference is positive. Just let me know the delivery point.
We saw the day start with the usual fare of smuggler interception. We bagged two in Sigma-13. One was fined and the other destroyed. The Cardamine from that shipment was burned on the spot.
The day continued with our new policy of probing Omicron Beta. Myself, Ensign Hatsumi, Naomi-san, and the DXI Director Seido made a pass around the dark side of the planet there, gaining new sensor readings concerning the composition of the upper atmosphere.
Our path probably took us too close to an Outcast sensor array, for soon a maxed force of Outcast and Lane Hacker ships entered and immediately engaged us. Poor Naomi was shot up whilst she attempted to parley with the curs! She is soon to be released from medical.
We held our own against the fighters. We were at great risk from an MNS Battleship that came thundering into the system - only to discover it couldnt fire its flak guns due to the debris and other Outcast ships in the vicinity. This is crucial intel for our tactical division!
Whilst we successfully repelled the interceptors, the Battleship took the opportunity to move on, threatening to attack Ogashawa itself!
Damage was sustained to the facility whilst we regrouped. As a last resort the Ghost made an appearance, and the Outcast Battleship immediately retreated in surprise.
Repairs are underway to Ogashawa as we speak.
We have proved to day we can hold our own, but it raises the issue of how to deal with any reprisals from the Outcasts. Our personnel can always retreat into the nebula, or into Kusari. But we will probably have to accept material losses and damage to our facilities in the short term.

As Yungai said, our light reconnaissance mission was successful, but met with resistance. We destroyed one gunship, one fighter, one bomber, and made yet another fighter flee into Omicron Alpha.
However, the mission prompted an enemy battleship to set course for Ogashawa. When we were able to fall back to assist, we heard talks of a "ghost" over our comms as the enemy apparently fled the scene. Strange...

Konnichiwa,
As we were patrolling the gas miners in Sigma-13, Corporal Satoru Kanegi and I witnessed a Corsair piracy attempt on a Daumann transport just in front of Naha. Acting quickly, we moved in to attack the bombers so the Daumann ship could get away.
We succeeded in our rescue, and took out three of the Corsairs fairly easily. The final pilot was skilled; flying a Raven's Talon... in proper hands that ship can be lethal. After more than twenty minutes, I finally landed a Supernova shot on his hull as he came out of a turn just underneath my Kaichou.
Name data:
I heard we have some new recruits. We should get them in the skies against the Corsair pirates, if they are to face the Outcasts in Beta.
The Daumann transport paid us a reward for rescuing him. I forwarded the funds to the armoury.

Re: Transport Update
MikumaMaru continues to haul H-fuel to Java station to support the IMG miners. They have been ordering more fuel as of late, I understand they have a large construction site project underway.
Recently the Zoners Consortium contacted me and they are planning a convoy of H-fuel to Java station. I believe this will support an IMG project milestone. The convoy will consist of GMG, Zoner, and OSI ships. This convoy needs additional GMG transport support. What do we have available?
On a side note, any progress at the Rheinland conference? I have been wondering the outcome.

Konbanwa, Members of the Guild.
As Captain Tanaka pointed out, we are calling on all available transports and escorts to register in a trade convoy on behalf of the Zoner Trade Consortium on August 2nd. To find details and/or register, open this channel. The ZTC is offering bonuses to both transports and escorts.
NOTE: We have permission from Sir Admiral Nelson of the Bretonia Armed Forces to traverse Bretonia in this one-time convoy. Other than this convoy, transports are still advised to avoid Bretonia space.
Secondly, Captain Hoshi Tanaka has been promoted to Clerk, formerly held by Guild Master Azuki Tamagochi.
For the Guild,
Nozaki Ichimoto Guild Master
