Perhaps I am being a little pessimistic, but it seems Blizzard keeps pushing back its release more and more. . . Now I hear Star craft 2 won't be out until 2010 . . . .
I'm almost ready to bet Micro$oft will release Freelancer 2 first . . .
anyone else want to rant ?!?!?

EFFIN' ROLEPLAY GUYS ... off to flood we go for that - Hoodlum
People are mad when a game comes out too soon and isn't finished, and mad when they take their damn time.
Blizzard is pioneering a new concept called "releasing it when it's finished." You see, for too long has companies like Lucas Arts decided they know about as much about video game development than the developers.
So far, it seems to have worked out well for them.
Thanks, I needed that.
"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
SC 2 will be released. they cant afford not to release it. their fan base will drastically decreased, and they cant afford that kinda hit due to the current economy.
I agree, the promos don't look that great. But I anticipate an awesome looking game. If you read the developer's notes, they don't have all the art finished yet, they are still concentrating on the engine and balancing. They don't even have all the animations yet. But, if you look at the battle reports, I think it's got potential.
