Because they destroyed zoners for a dubious bounty. No hard feelings to the privateers, from me at least. I find the situation very interesting. I thought it was clear Bretonians had intentions on Canaria, even in the last version...

I hope cooler heads prevail here. There's too much anger, to be sure.

Oh please stop crying about the QCP. They have done nothing wrong.

I love it when you Zoners try to keep "full neutrality" yet you have this tendency to be "allies" with one or another faction(s). Expect in-game consequences.

The QCP haven't ruined anything, all they did was add a new interesting flavor to the game, and just because that included shooting Zoners, you have to go weep. Perhaps its time to use all those Zoner cap-ships that were installed in the game for the first time?

Also, for all of you who are still keen on this whole QCP-Conspiracy crap, that they made an alternative account just to do a bounty on Zoners, well let me tell you how stupid and ignorant that sounds.

By the way, I'm not in the QCP if you are gonna go for the "hypocrite" line.

When I get my Zoner up to being a Guard I'm going to fly a Shire. To hell with having zero guns, especially on this pvpwhore server.

Good luck getting Bowex to sell you one - Bowex doesn't trust the Zoners enough (or at all for that matter) to sell them a Shire. Of course, that doesn't matter because what a faction feels about another has no bearing on whether or not you can land on a base and buy one of the three ships on offer there.

Also, who are you referring to when you say that? Zoner "neutrality" doesn't really exist, in my opinion. If you get ganked, buy something bigger, gank them back. There are heaps of juggys/zoner caps around.

People seem to misunderstand 'neutrality'. It's what the Zoners feel about others but not necessarily what they feel back. To tell other people that they're neutral with you is ridiculous. They'll decide how to deal with you from their own viewpoint (as the OPG and Privateers have).

I also find Jinx's earlier commend on 'Cannon Zoner RP' amusing, seeing as their current incarnation as an empire spanning most of Sirius with a capital fleet to boot, isn't what I imagined as cannon Zoner RP when I first played Freelancer, back whenever.
