Im hoping that my Rep could be redone and place as Zoner for Affiliation. Since its difficult to get extremely friendly with Zoner faction, I could only find 1 bribe offer after 4 hours of flying around. If you could just set my character's affiliation to Zoner with Good Rep with Zoners, it would really help.
Did you fly around for 4 hours after you got your Zoner bribe?
They can only be found when you are not friendly with the faction already, and normally on Zoner bases.
You'd need to shoot NPCs and/or Zoner Depots to bring them back to neutral, then get a double bribe at a Zoner base (two bribes in the same bar, one after the other), which should bring you up to full rep.
Depending on your ship, there's a few different things you can do. If you already got yourself a capital ship, you will have trouble getting to Zoner bases in house space.
Anyways, go to Tau-29, shoot Zoner depots outside the Freeport and keep an eye on your Zoner reputation - when it's like 2 bars in the negative, dock on the base and go to the bar.
If the bartender is offering a Zoner bribe but no one else is, press any of the buttons up top (ship dealer, equipment store etc.), and then back to the bar. The bartender will offer the same bribe, but the other NPC's hanging out in the bar will have changed. Keep doing this (switching from the bar to equipment/ship store and back), until the bartender and at least 1 NPC offer you a bribe. When they do, take them both, and your Zoner rep will be flashing green. It is very important that you take 2 bribes at once, otherwise you will have to repeat the shooting of Zoner depots to drop your reputation again.
If the bartender does not offer a Zoner bribe initially, press F1->Select new character and select the same character again. The bar will then refresh. Keep doing this until the bartender is offering a Zoner bribe, then do what I described above (switching back and forth until at least 1 other NPC offers a Zoner bribe).
I'm pretty sure the Freeport in T29 offer double-bribes, but if it doesn't I know Barrier Gate Station in Coronado does. It's not so far from Tau-29.
EDIT: If you don't have anything to lose on the character (if you haven't bought a ship and so on), it is way easier to use a /restart and follow the guide in the link.
Well, wouldn't it be a better use of your resources to point out the mistake and correct it, seeing that Aerelm's guide won't do you any good if you are working on an already existing ship that you don't want to delete?
As for the OP, don't you think he would be better served with a correct and working solution, rather than you and I debating stuff in his thread?
Also, what mistake? That method worked for me numerous times when I have had to fix broken reps on ships I bought used.
