I'd check with the races/factions you're going to use before writing something about them having a full scale war somewhere on the rim of Sirius, and hence adding a large piece to their lore. If you don't, itt'l prolly get shunned again.

From what I've been told in the past, the phantoms arent exactly privvy to most of the C'tan's activities, they're just tools. The C'tan have taken over dozens of other races according to the phantom backstory, and we know there are alien species out there who are not part of the c'tan, k'vosh, or nomads.
Something tells me that when you throw a powerhungry empire into a galaxy full of less powerful species, there's going to be wars. The point here is to expand on what little we know about what goes on outside of the sirius sector, I'm not going to be writing the phantoms' rp for them.
No, Tenacity. You will not introduce -yet another- absurd, baseless alien race. For crissake, the vanilla game's two were quite enough, and I'm already heavily skeptical of the C'Tan. Absolutely ridiculous. There is not "something larger" at work here, as you say above, and I doubt most Discovery players will accept having the environment their characters operate in permanently changed on a scale as massive as introducing an entire new superhuman alien species just so that you can prevent Aki, once more, from ending up in her, at this point in time, very well-deserved grave.
Nope. Nuh-uh. No way. Take my advice and write up some kind of story in which Aki heroically faces down a hundred thousand Lovecraftian Nomads and manages to take down three-quarters of the invading force before, finally, succumbing to a cruel, cowardly betentacled backstab. Something like that, nu? It'd fit in with how you've portrayed her in the past.
Sheesh. This is really becoming annoying, and I've religiously abstained from commenting on earlier harebrained Akischemes, but this one just goes too far by leaps and bounds.
