Well I'll be honest with you, I never had that much money to buy most of my applications and games legally, and the operating system isn't really an exception.

My XP is original, but I don't think I'll be "buying" an OS that shortly.
My main computer is currently a dual boot with XP and Windows 7 RTM which is.. well, let us say, conveniently rigged for it's license never to need activation.
It's basically the same as if I bought it as an original. Plus, RTM is the same version that will be going out in October when it's for sale, so, yeah.

I won't of course tell you all where to get it, because a) This forum doesn't allow giving out that kind of info and b) If you really need it, you'll manage to find it yourself.

I won't care about Vista, 7, 8, 9 ... etc... as long as my games still run on my old gaming computer. :cool:
For professional use of a computer, I have a seperate hardware and another OS vendor anyway;)

XP is my baby. I never found Vista -that- bad, although it was an overhyped let down as most things these days are. I'll be getting Windows 7 eventually, XP emulator or not.

And to those who complained about not enough cash/missing features in Home edition... How many of you are actually running a fully legit copy of XP right now? The interwebs is full of hypocrites when it comes to that :/

I'm using the Windows 7 Release Candidate and I can confirm Discovery will work on it. You just have to run FLMM and FL as administrator.

For those of you who don't know, you can make things run as admin everytime if you right click on the icon, hit properties, then the compatibility tab, and then check Run this program as an admin.

Well, with Vista, people could see that it wasn't going to be too good even in the beta stages. Most people got it because they knew people would stop supporting XP soon and/or they knew how to make it work well. However, Windows 7 has had a favorable reception ever since the first beta.

Personally I didnt upgraded to vista and will probably not upgrade to windows 7 simply because XP works just fine and because ATM my comp is borderline to play 2005 games like BF2, upgrading mean I need a new comp to continue playing these games.
