I was in Penn tonight with Richard. We were slammed by new pilots looking for a leg up in life. We had'em mining in that blue cloud like there was no tomorrow.
Richard did an awesome job teaching a fellow how to roleplay.
A colorful night in Pennsylvania. Teaching folks how to mine helium, helped a nice fellow get a Rhino then upgrade his shield at Ames Research, and explained that there was no jumphole between Dauphine and Pennsylvania--he's in for a long trip. Had a guy beg for money to buy class 8 armor, another beg for money to buy a Camara Freighter. Sorry Charlie, start trading.
And then. Ship undocks from Penn, immediately starts shooting other players and blowing up their little Starflyers. He spots me sitting nearby, BOOM, Angel Sass is singing in heaven with my little Angel ship all blown to hell n gone.
I undock from Penn and start calling him in system asking him to stop shooting and to talk to me. No response. I switch to private comm with his ship and ask same thing, no response. Other players in Penn are not happy campers at this point.
Low and behold, he types something in system. Another ship in Penn says it's Russian. He doesn't speak English--none. So I throw my wings in the air and call for back up. I actually hate doing this but saw no other option.
Said Russian killing machine is now living in Bastille.

Angel Sass
Hopefully, Angel David will have some progress with him.:D
Just spent an hour or so in New York, and helped a few people who weren't sure how to "PM" others, and even a few ID messups. Another fella wanted to know how he could get more money, and I supplied him with one of our advanced trade routes.
Overall it was fun watching business go about usual, and I had a nice time.
Sass's School for Mining had a great class today. I had the following students: GaSMask_71, Punctatus, rado999, Wolf_Vonhinslik, canine, and Cash.Banks.
Thanks to Lighting for providing security against Rogues and Xenos trying to disrupt my class. All students received an A.
I helped Sass out to teach a few newcomers the ropes as far as acquiring profits go.. helped a foreigner to learn his language boundaries, and generally had a good time.
Some of these folks include caca and cambrei.. Good luck to both of them..
Introduced a new miner to Sirius, and helped RADICA to get started in the world of smuggling.. There we a few others, but their names slip my mind. Here's a little screenie I got from my expedition with Radica!
It's good to see more Angels active.
Couple of suggestions (which are all IMHO)
- together with the getting started (mining/trading etc) as part of the package, also introduce new players to rp (seems like we are getting more 'lolwutters'). Since this is a RP server, RP should be #1 on the priority list.
- Would be nice if Angels could organise themselves into different timezones so that there will be (hopefully) at least 1 Angel is online at any point of time.
- Angel's job is tough, but is critical to get new players familiar to the rules and customs of disco.
Thank you and keep up the good work.
