How about giving us a VHF that ISN'T the size of a gunboat?

No, really, buff the size of the grey by 10-15% and add a turret and a proper shield.

Only one faction in Sirius has 2 proper VHFs. Rogues are nowhere near the size or resources of that faction.

Sure they can have an alternative that is good at some things but worse at something else, but not a new swiss army knife.

Greyhound can either stay about same as it is (with shield) or move even more towards HF. Not the other way.

You answered yourself, "give us something that can defend it from fighters". What can defend it better:
- a slow "VHF" with 5 guns (your new idea for Greyhound)
or
- a faster HF which has larger powerplant than others so that he can keep firing and due to his size/speed won't be first target for enemies?

That would be a good idea, wouldn't it, then you wouldn't have ungrateful ****s like me posting topics like this.

Have you ever tried to punch through a grav shield with sammaels.

The only way a Grey, which has the same fighterpower as our LF, or, to be exact, a Scimitar, is if you mount two CBs, a SW and a FS.

How about the balance team focuses on ships they actually fly eh?

I fly a Werewolf.. with 5 Sammaels, since it can fire them forever they down shields just fine.
On the other hand debilitators sync in speed with sammaels just fine, use 1 and 3 sammaels and if your ship is fast enough to keep on the enemy you should have no problems.

I think I posted it here already and I might repeat myself, but whatever...

Greyhound should be either made proper HF, with HF turning, size, weapon slots, powerplant and shield, or upsized a bit and become a proper VHF. Hybrids just dont work in Disco.

We were testing HFized Greyhound, and it was working just fine. We didnt finish because someone decided it will be just nerfed and nothing else. Only thing that was bad was powerplant. With HF powerplant it has problems maintaining both Sammaels and Trefoils. But just a little alteration in power usage of these guns would solve the problem. Werewolf would be affected too of course, more firepower and that, but the reason no one is flying it isnt the firepower, its the size.
