Modelling help

Hi there Disco players, this is directed at all off you that can modell a ship.

I need help with either making a ship for FL or what I need to make a ship on my own, for example how to add allready existing ships into a 3D modelling program and so on.

Now, if someone wants to help me with creating a ship, I CANT pay you...

But I can give you absolutely all details youl need for the ship..

On the other hand, if someone can provide an detailed tutorial for creating or editing an allready existing Freelancer ship.

So anyone out there wanting/willing to help me with an idea/project?

Open Milkshape 3d, and use the .CMP importer to get it into the program. Then, export to .3ds and you can import into any most modelling programs.

Most programs have a way for you to select the individual vertices and edit them.

Well any ideas on program then?:P

Cause ive managed to get the model into milkshape 3D, but its.. Difficult to change anything in that program.

Just selecting thing is... Annoying:P

Haha, try GMax, it's free. Or *COUGHCOUGHCRACKCOUGH* Autodesk 3ds, which is a better version of GMax.

Try to use Blender. There are very good tutorials on how to use it. I learned it pretty quick.

And it is FREE.

@Ventana: Will try that program aswell ^^ As long as its relatively easy to use. I remember some old programs that I used to use. Cant remember any off them now -.-

And is there a modeller out there willing to help aswell it would be awesome!
