*cough*
I like my Barghest how it is now, thank you very much.

You most certainly did NOT.
Anyways, this is about the Greyhound, not the Barghest.

Quote:Rogues use CDs, not minirazors on our Greyhounds because, simply put, we don't have a choice. A minirazor never stopped a gunboat or bomber from engine killing, never stopped a trader from running away, and never stopped anyone from spamming missiles or mines. That, combined with how tiny Liberty lawful fighters are (Seriously, just look at the Liberator), minirazors would be useless.
For stopping stuff you have Barghests, or Werewolves. Greyhounds are not really the best choice for piracy. Missile spam might be a problem, but one Hyena or Werewolf can help things greatly. Liberty ships arent that small. Liberator is, because it is a LF. Hussar, Bret LF is small too, its just not flown often, mainly because BPA being inactive a lot.
Quote:I don't really know what the situation is in Bretonia, as I'm not able to RP a Bretonian, and I doubt it would be very much fun with the KNF parking in Leeds. However, I do notice they aren't doing well against the Mollies or the KNF (Otherwise the already tragically sucky Greyhound wouldn't have been nerfed and Kusari wouldn't be winning the war).
Huh huh. Kusari winning the war has nothing to do with player fighting skill, its just someones idea that Bretonia should suck hard in anything it does. If you would go by number of fights won, Bretonia should be in NT by now, and I'm not exaggerating. Quite a bit of MR are BAF, and MR kept either winning the events, or dragging them extremely loooooong. On account of that BAF got bored and usually ran away, or refused to participate next time after finally managing to minespam the Greyhounds to death.
Im in BAF, but I was always on MR side in MR vs BAF events, before you try to accuse me of bias or something like that. I dont agree with the current change, but I didnt agree with what the Greyhound was before either.
I say make it a normal HF. Or light VHF, just not a hybrid.

If you would go by number of fights won and attendance for the first year of the war, New London would have been conquered more than a year ago as BAF gave up to do the events cause they were loosing all the time;)
Funny how fortunes change eh?

Well then, I'm speaking for the time I'm here, I don't know how was BAF performing before.

I meant small compared to Rogue ships. Our Light Fighter is larger than Liberty VHFs. Our VHF is larger than Liberty's bombers. And one Hyena or Werewolf won't matter much, flying one of those things just makes you a target, and a gigantic one at that.

I'm tempted to agree with you. The VHF size and HF shield, weapons, and powerplant thing really isn't working.
If we just made the blasted thing a proper HF it would solve pretty much all the problems in my opinion. Muck about with the powerplant/guns slightly and you're set.
