Look, you can either come down from your hights as a dev team member and give reasons for the changes, so others can exchange opinions about them or you can simply go do something else.

Currently it is just like with Igiss, who moves the mod forward, changes and all only by intuition, since, I frankly have no idea when was the last time he was in-game.
If you can't do your job, don't like your job, and hate being yelled at then get out. It's as simple as that.
How about letting some of those people who "have no lives and do nothing but discovery" take over for a change. If they spend so much damn time on this game then I'm sure they'd do a better job the the current idiots at the helm.

Even if you do not think they are doing a very good job at all, what makes you think they are ever going to be more inclined to listen to your points of view when you are acting like an ass over it? Yes, I have my disagreements with the balance team and yeah, I think lots of things could perhaps be done better. However, I am not qualified to do it and therefore my input is somewhat more limited and of less importance. If you have legitimate complaints and arguments, please learn how modding freelancer properly works, and then come and debate stuff fairly and sensibly with facts/figures/stats/whatever works that is accurate and not misleading to the best of your knowledge or ability.

Fact is, this mod is now run by people who dont know what the hell they're doing. This is a game, it's supposed to be fun, and we keep getting change after change that removes fun and replaces it with frustration - and all the while the devs who put those changes in are lolling behind their position, saying "we know what's best, we're devs, and you cant do anything about it."
When was the last time Igiss was in-game even? How is someone supposed to run an entire mod when they dont know what's happening down on the level of the players?

To sum it up:
4.85 Greyhound
1. Was too hard to kill
2. Could "overuse" mini razor
3. Had limited firepower with guns
4. Was turning relatively slow so it had tracking problems
Conclusion from that thread resulted in the changes which affect these areas
1. Lvl 9 shield (in update 1 already), less "dodging"
2. Smaller powerplant
3. Extra turret
4. More turning
