I did not find the greyhound too hard to kill; It was no harder to kill than say, a Blossom, Chimaera, or more recently, Wraith, and has a bigger model than any of those. I could live with the class 10 shield nerf, but anything else is simply ridiculous. These were the changes I would've made if I had any say in the matter...
BAF is having problems? Then don't nerf a generic ship. Perhaps you could have given the Paladin or Hussar a buff instead?
LR- Don't use codenames, therefor I would've just given the thing an extra turret. This will not affect the [MR] any because Trefoils are terrible and hard to aim with, so they'd just stick with their CN/MR combo.
Last but not least, if you wanted to nerf the agility/speed on it, then the Greyhound should've gotten a new model, or a scaled down version of the current one.

There are multiple people in the older thread saying it actually was. But you are just "filtering" those.
Quote:Sindy was clearing out that you failed at balancing (again) with nerfing the Powerplant for once again, but making it faster. Werent the people complaining that you cant hit it?
That's why it has lower shield (as in update 1) and the dodging/turning changes actually made it easier to hit. Nerfing the powerplant is to outweight the extra turret.

1. Never seen any of those Threads.
2. So it's now easier to kill and to hit. On other side harder to kill anyone else if you fly a Greyhound.

Call me a noob at how all this stuff works, especially since I'm crap in combat anyway, but wouldn't the process of adding and firing that extra turret cause the additional power drain to all of your weapons without reducing the amount of power available anyway? I mean, the turret takes up extra power off the original generator and thus takes it away from all the other weapons using it, meaning you're draining your energy banks faster anyway. So ultimately, does it really matter? I'm in the Liberty Rogues and I don't use a Greyhound, but I never ever saw that ship spammed regardless, so it clearly wasn't as uber as the odd person seems to think it was.
Another dud ship would be the Werewolf, which I do actually have quite some experience with, but hey this topic is about the Greyhound *shrugs* to be honest, it is a crap ship now, even more than it was. Admittedly, balancing ships across the whole mod isn't easy, but it seem as though we have an awful lot of really crappy ships that don't really serve much purpose except to have people go "well that's so crap that I'll never win a fight in it, so I'll never use it", which kind of defeats the point of ever bothering to have it in the mod in the first place. Of course, you do have to have some skill in any combat situation, and it helps in knowing whether a ship is truly balanced or not. But not everyone can be an expert in every ship, so it helps to take on board the views of those who fly it regularly. I'm not saying you aren't doing this, of course, but just felt it ought to be a point made.
2. How is it harder to kill anyone when you can track them better and have one extra gun slot (which was one of the main problems that among others you complained about in the older thread?)

It doesn't change how often you can fire the mini razor if you only do that, which was one of the problems.

Nobody flies it because they know it sucks. So when the dev team decides to fly it themselves and does well we are told that it doesn't reflect anything.
