' Wrote:The problem with this is that, in rp, there are other projects in Kusari that would need the Gate parts, and Lane parts are used for keeping the tradelane system up and running.
Hauling trade lane parts for Kusari usage is one thing. Hauling them to a BMM base is quite another! Those Gate/Lane Parts should be headed to the Chugoku Gate Construction Site in Hokkido!

By making Gate/Lane Part exports to the Taus restricted, traders could still take them to Hokkido with no problems.

I believe the new ID in mod 4.85 states:
Ageira Technologies ID
Pilot carrying this ID is employed by Ageira Technologies, who:
* Can lawfully transport Gate/Lane Parts well as other commodities
* Can demand Gate/Lane Parts from anyone carrying them within their zone of influence except:
o DSE, House Police or House Militaries
Transporting gate/lane parts is not sanctionable if your ID does not say you can lawfully do so. It just means that there may be in-character consequences if you are not lawfully allowed.
This might help, regarding Gate/Lane parts and who is lawfully allowed to ship them. Ageira has corporate neutrality between the houses partially because of this reason.
Codex updated basing on Kusari Communications (Delta) feedback.
Gate/Lane Parts and Optronics export to Taus is still under discussion.
-Artifacts, Human Organs and Nuclear Devices in/out lawful traffic is now restricted to Samura and Kishiro;
-Researchers are now covered by the Codex, a relative section in the License Archive has been set up;
-Fines reviewed to be more appropriate in relation to the infraction;
-Liquid Cardamine has been added as illegal commodity, to clear any doubts (if there were any...);
-General format improvement.
I think that is all, feedback is obiviously appreciated.

If you are referring to the first post of this thread I can't change that unfortunately, it was my old account that got deleted.
The link in my sign is always updated and the link from the "Laws of Sirius" is updated too (you can reach it also from the KNF status post and from Kusari Comms portal page).

Codex updated, adjusted the licensing process to reflect the major change explained below.
Added a link to the Kusari Legal Codex Quick Reference Card by Dekzar (thanks Dekzar!) for easy ingame use.
Licensing process for exporting restricted goods from Kusari through the Taus
Due to several difficulties our brothers-in-law are facing while enforcing this policy leading to a good number of wierd ingame situations, it has been decided to simplify this licensing process.
From now on this license for a single ship will be issued on-spot after the KNF Officer (Daii rank and above) on the scene will have verified paperworks and destination of the cargo and the required cash deposit (25 millions) has been paid to him, who will then provide the necessary cash transfer and informations for updating our documents in the form of an action report.
If the circumstances require it, the KNF Officer on the scene may still ask the subject to follow the old licensing process via the KNF High Command thread.
Group license for entire factions/groups will still require the use of the KNF High Command thread, discussion (read..time) and approval.
Group license cash deposit has been lowered to 125 millions from 250.
