I had an epic RP with you guys earlier today on my junker transport. Kudos for the finest to Luxuria and Nimmermehr for that.
I was hoping for the same pleasureful experience a few hours later, but I had to face a huuuuuge disappointment as an Umbrage and its escort (I will not mention names) appeared in the middle of New York and without the slightest intention to RP, the ships shot the living soul out of my defenceless Junker transport. I honestly don't know how the "caps can't fire on transports" and the "notice before engagement" rules apply to phantoms, but both rules were broken, and even though I do not mind that, I don't see the RP in destroying a junker transport, who really was on the spot for the junk and ignoring the Navy force right near the scenario (it also happened ~5k from West Point).
Now, I'd like to ask, can you PLEASE try to make your appearance a bit more similar to the first encounter I had with the other guys? Thank you.

I am Luxuria! And now Valentine aswell.
Good times with you, you wine swigging maniac!
I hope to fly with you and possibly shoot at you more in the future.
As for the wiki, I'm heading the restoration, trying to get a good roster back up there with the updated Phantoms, but I get really bust with college work.
Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime.

Quote:
6.7 Attacking transports, liners or demanding cargo from the same is not allowed for cruisers and battleships.
Exceptions to this rule are:
a) Terrorist, Nomad, Wild, Phantom ID players;
b) LSF or Liberty Navy Guard vessels operating within Zone 21 or Alaska;
c) Order Guard vessels operating within Alaska or Omicron Minor;
d) Blood Dragon Guard vessels within Chugoku;
e) Corsair Guard vessels within Omicron Gamma;
f) Outcast Guard vessels within Omicron Alpha;
g) Guard ID players in their -own- associated Guard system.
h) Special OP players within the guidelines of their approved RP.
Quote:5.2 All attacks must be the result of some form of role play. "Engaging" is not sufficient. An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Being hit with a CD is not considered an attack. If a player is attacked he has a right to defend himself regardless of who is attacking.
That addresses your issues with the rules. Now, I think your problem here is you did not expect to get fired on, which, is fairly stupid. The Junkers are hostile to the Phantoms, why on earth would you just sit there while we walk up to you? I told you we didn't like Junkers, I told you I was going to take you, and still, you didn't think you were in danger? Sorry, role play is not only sitting around chatting, it is also destroying the enemies of your faction, which the Junkers are. Am I sorry you feel you didn't get a good experience? No, because I feel we did exactly what we should have. Did you happen to notice all the other ships around? Why on earth would you just sit there and wait to be blown up? Talking to us as though you had nothing to fear?
Listen up people, if you are not a friend of the Phantoms, you are an enemy, and sitting next to a Phantom cruiser thinking you are not in danger....tsk tsk tsk....bad roleplay man. I am disappointed in you.

I was unaware that keeping the wiki up to date was a official faction responsibility.
I sat around thinking that you would actually care for the navy and BHG ships flying around the area and upon engaging them, scrap would be produced, which is my character's primary aim to harvest and only source of income. Instead you went for the soft target that posed no danger at all. I don't see how a defenceless transport becomes priority target in the capitol of other, more dangerous hostiles. Would the navy be pissed off because you destroyed a junker? No, so it wouldn't even stand as a provocation. Yes, I am aware of the fact that the Junkers are hostile, but did you seriously expect resistence from a sole transport against 3-4 fighters AND a cruiser? Takes two clicks of a button to take my character out. I honestly don't see what pleasures that caused.
EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention, I DID attempt to flee as soon as you all arrived. Slowly, backwards, not to provoke anyone since I DID RP that I was scared to hell. So, I'd like to object against the bad RP from my side.
I have an answer as to why we kill you with a series of questions:
What are you?
1. You're a Civilian
2. You are hostile
What is the situation?
1. There are lots of witnesses
2. Everyone else has big bristly guns
What are we?
1. Terrorists
We were getting chased about anyway. We were losing the fight and we knew we couldn't win. So, terrorists have to seem scary. We kill one person and we run away. A fun fact about terrorism: you don't actually have to kill multitudes of people or be a badass, you just have to pretend you are. So, we kill a civilian, and we escape from the Navy. That is scary, isn't it? I think it's scary, and that's the point of terrorism; to be scary.
Next time fly away.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
