Thank you for reading my application and I am hoping to be able to start my training soon
My application question have been sent to Admiral MacTravish via privates cooms as requested by Fleet Admiral Hale.
Well as you can see from my background data, I am in need of a carer. A well respected one at that. I have got combat experiance in flight simulators and also having to defend off Liberty Rouge and Lane Hacker partys. I have always had a found respect for all Liberty vessels that I see. Especially the Battleship Missouri that i go past every time i go on planet leave from Sugarland. I suppose being so close to the war front of Rhienland and the fear of invasions at any moment is also making me want to sign up. Liberty will not fall to Pirate scum, Rhienlanders or the Order. I will be there to make sure of it! You won't be dissapointed with your decison.
Experiance: Now these are with the simulators, all Fighter classes, Gunboats, Bombers, Cruisers.
I hope to be up there in space fighting along side Libertys best men and women!

Short summary of life: I was born on planet manhatten in the year 784 AS into an above-middle class family. At the age of 18 i went to manhatten university and studied basic and advanced space combat, theory and practical, and space war tactics. I passed through at age 20 with all A+ it was then when i enlisted at west point military academy to continue these studies, again, graduating at age 24 with masters in each. I was then given advice to enrol in the navy which i thought about for a while. For the next few weeks i was inbetween jobs, freelancing, worked as a cop for a bit on the ground. Didn't like it, did various other jobs for the LPI and the Navy in space this time for some money. Then one day i was called to be a figher pilot on a navy dreadnaught and gleefully acceapted. Suddenly we got a distress signal from a convoy who was being attacked by rogue vessels, a lot of 'em, 3 rogue cruisers and a wing of bombers and fighters. We headed to the convoy and saw there were no escort, shot down immediately, said the convoy, the dreadnaught opened fire on the cruisers.
"All fighters launch ships now, bombers focus on those cruisers, fighters on the bombers and fighters, also, fighters try to draw the fire from the bombers" Said the captain. About 20-30 pilots were rushing and launching and so was I. I was in an "upholder" bomber. I fired my SNAC at the one of the cruisers along with a wing made of other bombers. There was a huge explotion but still the cruiser was there, although heavily damaged. Another 2 SNAC salvos and the first cruiser was down, but there were still another 2. Minutes later, the second cruiser was down but the dreadnaught was as well. A mirrage of escape pods came out of the ship and our fighters and bombers were still fighting the enemy, then our saviours came, a wing of liberty cruisers, fighters and gunboats arrived. The fight was won, the attackers fled. It was then that i decided to enrol in the navy. The honour, the enforcers of the rules, i wanted to be one of them, thats where i belong, space......
The reasons i was to join the liberty navy: The main reason i would like to join the liberty is to defend this great nation with the scum that infects it. May it be the rhienlanders, pirates, the order, you can count on me to be there, on the front line, risking my life for this great nation. For this reason: This nation, is worth it!
You may not acceapt me now but if you don't i will continue to defend liberty from all that threaten it. I look forward to your reply.

Previous fields of work: Three years as an engineer for the Planet Denver dock, three years on board Battleship Mississippi keeping the guns ready to shoot Rhinelanders, and six years working as a freelancer. Life as an engineer does not satisfy me as much as being in the cockpit and I certainly wish to command my own Battleship one day.
Experience: I have flown VHFs, Super HFs, bombers, and gunboats.

My Life:
When I was four, my parents were both killed during an attack on Planet Denver. Since then, I grew up and led a mediocre life, forever bearing a grudge against merciless rogues. Without any parents to guide me or any relatives, I was put under the care of a retired liberty navy officer. He had always told me stories of how he fought the enemies of liberty but I was never too inspired. It was the liberty navy after all that failed to save my parents. So I grew up, sad and angry, became an engineer because I had a deep desire to fix things, much like how I wanted to fix my past.
However, after three years as an engineer on Planet Denver's dock, I came across a wanted ad for engineers on the Mississippi. My boss strongly encouraged me to go and even wrote me a recommendation, saying that it would be a great waste of my potential if I had stayed in a place where civilians whine about their engines making too much noise when there was a battleship out there which needed me to keep its guns going. He convinced me and I went.
Three years into life on the battleship and I got tired of oiling turrets and aligning targeting systems so I decided to take shore leave. Back on planet Denver, I met an interesting young man at the bar. After talking to him about his life as a freelancer, I decided that I had to experience it for myself before it was too late. After all, I did not want to be an engineer my whole life. The cockpit is where I belong, not the engine room.
As a freelancer, I explored more of Sirius, dealt with more pirates than I had ever come across in my life as an engineer and seen for myself how poorly protected Liberty is that mercenaries and freelancers like myself were in such popular demand. Perhaps the Navy lacks the funding, or perhaps it lacks the manpower. Whatever the case, I hope to join the Navy to do what needs to be done and to satisfy my strong desire for justice.

Greetings, pilots.
Today, I have finished reviewing your applications, that including your personal backgrounds and theory tests. It wasn't an easy decision, but I made sure to pick only the best. Therefore:
Duke Armstrong, Jack Will, Alan Young, Andrew Web, Jimmy Cricket - Your applications have been accepted.. Please outfit your Executioner class vessels, using our naming convention [LN]-Firstname.Lastname. You will also be required to acquire the proper Liberty Navy IFF and ID transponders. After a trial of 8 hours of flight in those (or more, depending on the case), and with the transponders set, you will be promoted to Ensigns, and join the real ranks of the Navy.
The rest that have not been mentioned here, sorry to announce that your applications have been turned down, due to several flaws in your background records, and the theory tests. You may not apply again anytime soon.

My Life:
I was born on Planet Denver in 783 AS into a Middle Class family. When I was 20, I signed-up for
West Point Academy to study Basic and Advanced Combat skills ,and passed with A's. After the
Academy recommended that I join the Navy, I turned them down because at the time I only wanted to gain
Credits and make a name for myself. I spent the next two years trading throughout the Liberty System, and
then another year after that Freelancing. But Tragically about a month ago, My parents were traveling from
Planet Denver to Planet Manhattan, when suddenly they were attacked by Rogues and were killed. I have long held a grudge against Pirates for stealing my cargo, but this really hurt me personally. I want to protect other families from events like these. I was thinking about how to stop these Pirates, and when I was looking through my Personal Items I saw my Certificate from the Academy and remembered about the Offer to join the Navy. I would be glad to help in anyway to help assist our Navy, and keep our System safe from Pirates.

Background
My name is Daniel Hopkins... about me, about me... twenty seven years old, university of Manhattan degree in small craft operation (including combat), Liberty Navy reserve forces... I was born on Freeport XIV in the Yukon system. I never got a chance to meet my father, and my mother was away working most of the time. By the time I was five years old my mother had saved up enough money for the both of us to move to Manhattan so I could get a better education for myself.
It was on that trip that I decided what I wanted to do with my life. Our small "Grizzy" class personal transport bound for Trenton station became assaulted by a band of pirates. Our stubborn captain, confident in his piloting skills refused to pay, resulting in our small Zoner escort being wiped out rather quickly. Just as all hope seemed lost, a liberty navy patrol came by. They wasted no time in engaging the pirates, giving our transport enough time to charge up its cruise engines and escape. I never learned what happened to that Navy patrol.
I lived a rather uneventful life since moving planetside, passing each grade as the years rolled by, sometimes quick, sometimes slow, but always with the thought of those brave pilots in the back of my mind, and how one day I'd change (and in some cases, save) the lives of people like they changed mine. When I turned eighteen, I enrolled in the university of Manhattan, getting myself a degree in small craft operations, which included combat.
Twenty three was a big year for me. I finally finished my courses, and was eager to apply to join the Liberty Navy. My first application, while not outright denied, like most run of the mill pilot applications at the time, relegated me to the reserve forces, as there simply was not any need for more pilots. I managed to get my hands on a second hand "Upholder" class bomber, being called out whenever nessecary, which wasn't exactly very often. At least, not until the war began. Which brings me to the reason for this new application in the first place....
A couple of weeks ago, as I'm sure you're all too unfortunately aware, a large Rheinland fleet invaded the Texas system. I was called out to deal with the threat, and in the heat of battle an ionstorm hit. My Upholder went hurdling towards a Rheinland battleship, flight systems completely offline, and was completely destroyed. Luckily, I managed to eject at the last second, and was in the ICU of Ben Taub hospital on planet Houston for three weeks. I am without money, a ship, or at this point even any sort of family. All I have is a desire to serve the citizens of Liberty, and I hope this application will give me a second (and better) chance to achieve what I've always wanted.
