First draft for a Junker capital ship. Low detail, rear needs completing, engines may be moved to rear.
The textures are just temporary - looks like stone really. God, it's ugly... Engines definitely go to the rear. Some pipes and scaffolding should help. Possibly some washing lines too, the Junkers would appreciate the practicality.
Update to Junker cap ship. Battleship size, though could be shrunk to cruiser without difficulty.
New: less ugly (aww...) but more detail. Poly count not too bad.
(thinks to self: now how am I going to texture this thing...)
Looks like they stole the nose of the liberty drednaught, which is good in my opinion very junker like.
And do I see a bit of a heavy lifter in there to?
Oh and some of the lib cruiser forward gun cool.
Kiggles:laugh:
I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus
I can give you advice on the textures (or what i think they should be :P)
The front should be the colour scheme of the liberty dread, the middle should be rhinelander green (as its the circle cargo pod)
The engines look bretonian, so they can be red.
No Kusari because of the fact that there are no Junkers in Kusari.
I love the design loads!! And in those colour it would reflect, IMHO, the diversity of the Junkers.
I also love the forward gun, but i doubt that it will be allowed.
Also, i think that it should be a pocket battleship (ie frigate/battlecruiser) which is probably the biggest thing the Junkers would have. Maybe the size of the Osiris or just less, so the parts dont look out of proportion.
On the other hand, you never know what Junkers can make.
I am eagerly waiting to fly this, however it turns out!!!:D
and although it should be textured like original ships (liberty and rheinland) it should also have some, how do i say it, it needs to look old, like it has been damaged and then repaired with out paint job...u know...rusty look
