Outcasts has the best guns developed, why? They are smarter than liberty due the cardamine.
I believe into balance then you loose soemthing to gain something. For some peaple some stats are more important than others. They can choose in which ships they might be the best. Oh and we have universal ships too.
Of course it's really hard to keep it equel or to identify if it isin't since we all are diffrent players with diffrent skills of the game.

I think Liberty has far superior technology and materials than the Corsairs (and they can buy whatever they don't have), however the Corsairs advantage lies in making strong vessels which can adapt to the harsh conditions of your system which naturally must make the vessels stronger.
However, this is totally irrelevant to balancing, as we are looking at statistics, numbers and all that fun stuff. Role-play really comes second in this particular area...
The thing is that materials like are for corsairs, are only in Crete And oh, corsairs do not sell their ships neither materials to liberty. There is always something what money can't buy.
But perhaps I red wrong something about Cretes mountains with best ore, becouse of wich they lacked land to grow food.
Yes as ACAB boy says the ores are awesome in Crete and there's tons of them.
But as you say, the main part of rp is pvp.
but here's the dimension you don't see.
The skill.
It is understandable that best pilots in the entire universe are outcasts and corsairs.
Yet again, joining the corsairs and outcasts doesn't make you ultra awesome. You have to work on that skill.
How to make it more in rp that you are better pilot, build them a slightly better ship.
Liberty can have great ships, but their pilots, compared to corsairs and outcasts haven't got the slightest idea of what combat is in the border worlds.
I mean, just imagine that guy patrolling in Omega 41, to Battleship fes in 47, back in 41 to Omega 11 hole and then home to Leon.

I agree with people who said you gain some you lose some. It's a game. Every ship needs to be different and in the end it all comes to the skill. Only reason I would buff Gladiator a bit is to see them more. 93% Corsairs fly Titans... would be more fun if there was more Gladis. Of course it's not a big deal if it doesn't get buff:)
Also somebody said there are 2342323 Tridents on server because it's the best gb? I got one Imperator right here that will prove you wrong:D
