Initial Activity Report
Firstly, may I thankyou for the opportunity to fly for Bowex. I was greatly dismayed at the loss of my former ship "Stoke On Iron Ridge" in the Kusari conflict and wondered if my space faring days were over.
But thanks to you I am now flying again.
I have taken delivery of the Bowex)Brunel, a Clydesdale class freighter and she has been overhauled with high quality equipment installed.
Her shakedown missions were accomplished easily and she is now fitted with Bowex Identification Beacons which work perfectly including the electronic radio identifiction. She is unmistakably a Bowex ship when encountered. The BAF lads have encountered her and responded with interest and concern for our welfare. Perfectly spiffingly considerate gentlemen they are. Corporate shipping certainly has its privileges it seems.
The ship has performed well to date and has visited over 61 Bases across 26 systems. The Brunel has been as far as Pl Nuremberg, Pl Gran Canaria, Tau31 Gate Construction site and Pl Denver. Cargo's transported to date include Mining equipment, Berylium, -Classified-, -Classified-, Prisoners, Spaceship crew, Teraforming gases, Deuterium, Oxygen, Water, Basic Alloy, High Temp alloy, Engine Components, Robotic components, -Classified- and H-Fuel.
The ship is fully functional and ready for service.
Further communications to Mr Maloney on private channel regarding operations will be sent.

Good evening to all of you. If you are reading this message, it is a testament to your loyalty, and your dedication to the House of Bretonia. For this overwhelming courage and fortitude in spite of a violent and depraved enemy that besets our very home, I am eternally grateful.
We all know that the company has come under hard times as of late, with both the terrible loss of Glasgow Outpost and a somewhat turbulent recent history in that of senior management. Ever since the horrendous loss of Sir William Burke upon his return from the deal that secured our ownership of Port Jackson, the company has floundered. He was a man many would consider to be one of the finest DO's Bowex has ever had, and it is now that was must persevere in his memory. In recent history, we have become snared in cobwebs and constrained by shadows.
That changes now. Today will mark a new day in Bowex's history - in Bretonia's history! Today we turn over a new page; correct our course; strengthen our resolve and make right what is wrong! Today, we start anew and today we begin the long and bloody fight to reclaim what is rightfully ours!
We will see the day in which our space is liberated from the scourge of the Kusari invaders! We will see this day of victory! It may not be soon, and it certainly will not be easy to reach, but it will happen. We will supply the brave men and women of the Armed Forces. We will put our lives on the line to make sure they receive that which then need! We will put our lives upon the line to keep the Bretonian economy strong! We will put our lives on the line to do what is right, and preserve our own freedom, and that of our people!
We must endure, men and women of Borderworld Exports. Have faith in that you know you act for all that is good.
In this dark and trying time, many individuals have shown themselves possessing the qualities required for a higher standing in this great company. They are as follows:
Supervisor Ian Wills: Through the turmoil of a confused management, and the onslaught of Kusari invaders, Mr. Wills has maintained his shifts at the helm of his Shire. He has continued to ship goods to the front lines, regardless of opposition. For this, he should be looked upon as a role model. Congratulations on your new appointment to Division Manager of the Shipping Combine.
Supervisor Robert Roy: Despite being a relatively new addition to the company in comparison to other corporate employees, Mr. Roy has show both initiative and courage in his supply runs to the front line as well as resourcefulness and level-headedness in his negotiation of the Omegas. This in combination with his steadfast loyalty to the firm, causes me to see fit to appoint him to the position of Division Manager of the Shipping Combine. Well done and congratulations.
Senior Employee Mark Bellock: Despite occasional hotheadedness, Mr. Bellock has proved himself a true asset to the Combine. His long and exemplary service leads me to promote him to the position of Supervisor.
Congratulations all three of you. May the rest of you follow in their examples of good, solid service and clear judgement and initiative. Hard work is rewarded, and the rewards shall be great indeed. Now, go, and do your duty to Bretonia!

That's neither here nor there. You'll get the standard raise for promotion and nothing else.

Do something worth a rise, and perhaps you'll jolly well get one. Now look lively! This is a shipping corporation, not a gossip factory!

Good day chaps,
So, as I'm going to be spending a lot more time on Ex/Sec duty, im regestering a new captain for the Somerled, dont worry, I didn't hand the responsibility to any random stranger, I'm transfering it to my brother Angus. Just so the chaps at HQ can get it all filed away and whatnot.
It wasn't, on the surface, an unusual bid. Bowex entertained this sort of offer all the time, on ships the Combine had appropriated from smaller shippers. It wasn't a bid too far out of proportion with the value of the ship..at least, not out of proportion with the current appraisal of the ship.
Beyond that, of course, there wasn't any reason to believe that a ship Bowex had announced would become a museum was at all for sale.
So the offer sat, three hundred million credits in exchange for the oldest Bowex Royal Liner, the Henry.VIII, on Andrew Maloney's desk.

Maloney drummed his fingers on the desk for a moment. The Henry VIII simply wasn't for sale. It had a 250 year history with the corporation, and it was due to be opened as a mobile museum orbiting New London within a month. It was too much of an investment financially and culturally to auction off to the highest bidder. However high that big may well have been.
Currently the corporation was sat on a nest of three Royal Liners - the Henry itself, the Victoria which would be unveiling as the new corporate flagship once the Henry was officially decommissioned and the Majestic Skies, which ran tours and holidays all over the three civilised Houses. Losing the eldest was not a part of the game plan.

CC: Sale of the Royal Liner Henry VIII
I am unsure as to where exactly this request has come from, but I am afraid I must decline it. The Royal Liner Henry VIII has a massive value to Bowex and the Crown that exceeds mere material credits. The vast cultural and fiscal investment that it holds makes it a historical bank that must be available for future generations of the Bretonian public.
If you desire to inspect the Liner up close, and admire the workmanship that went into it's contruction, I can certainly patch you through to our accountancy division for the purchase of a ticket for the upcoming museum opening celebration. After this historic event, the ship will of course take it's place in New London's orbit, where it will be open to booked tours. I'm sure a woman such as yourself would certainly qualify for one of our VIP bookings.
If you must possess a Royal Liner, I would suggest contacting the BMM for purchase and reproduction rights of partial blueprints. From there you could either take them to the shipyards of Rhienland or Liberty for fabrication, due to the strain placed by the war closing our own ports to public construction.
I thank you for your time, if disappointed we could not conduct business.
Yours
~Andrew Maloney.
He sat back and sighed. Another hapless member of the aristocracy. He poured himself a drink from the bottle that had been near enough constantly perched on his desk since his appointment to Acting DO. How long before they realised money couldn't buy them whatever they wanted?

CC: Weekly operations report.
Greetings gentlemen,
First, I would like to congratulate everyone for the excellent start we take for 818 a.s. Along with a sharp raise in our income curve and the intense recruitment policy, which seems successfull up to now, the recent agreement we achieved with the Zoner Ore Extraction company will only make it even better. Now, considering the needs for our new Ex/Sec department, those excellent results could well support our position for the renewal of the Royal Charter.
I also consider the excellent behavior of two of our newest and promising operatives, captain Kirkland from the Black Prince and captain Charles from the Churchill. The former being savvy in business, aware of oportunities, and greedy enough to be a proper Bowex representative. When he will be experienced enough, we certainly could assign him to future commercial battle about further trade agreements. The later proved himself particularly dedicated lately, and fully immersed in the Bowex culture of jolly goodly spacing pirates and other scums roaming in our way. A later example happened for instance in Dublin, when our combined forces assisted by a BAF officer allowed him to have the last word against a kusarian gunship.
As we meet succes both in recruitment and casual business, we just now have to keep it that way and focus our efforts on raising a Ex/Sec fleet worthy of our combine shipment department. To that matter, I would stress that besides the long term benefit such a wing could bring to our company, a nice good looking squadron ensuring the security for the Henry VIII retirement ceremony to come, where a nice gathering of Bretonia VIP might attend, could also be a good asset to our corporate image. I therefore suggest to emphasize our recruitment and advertisement policy to this end. The rehearsal scheduled on next Sunday will be a good opportunity to review our fleet.
