I am not sure of the best place to post this - so I shall put it here.
When considering a means to RP the training given by the GMG to the Dragons, Prowler and I came up with a proposal:
The Renshuuki[#]. A Renshuuki is a training plane. We wish to establish a series of shared accounts containing a Chimaera, Kusari Bomber and Gunboat. These will stay in Simga-59, our guard system, and serve as training ships (and maybe the odd defence of the guard system when OC ships use s-59 as an asteroid-free highway).
This would require the 'permission' of the relevant factions as per the Tech Chart. I would like to point out that these ships are supposed to be outdated models for training - not ships for general duties.
In RP - Dragon warriors would be sequestered on transports (in the old days they would have been blindfolded). They would be shipped out to S-59 to experience harsh training at the hands of masked pilots.
They would never know what system they were in, and they would never even know they were being trained by the GMG.
This leads me to my next concept. It is being discussed by the Guild Masters and a vote will be necessary.
If a secret deal is to remain secret in the long run - then few people should know about it. To this end I proposed that - in RP - only the top echelons of either faction know that such a relationship even exists.
This means the GMG Guildmasters, CEO and Paramilitary General ONLY.
This means the Dragon Taishogun and Shogun ONLY.
It would mean that Dragons may be able to attack GMG ships when individual honour is at stake - and that GMG ships may well attack Dragons they feel are threatening their interests.
Neither side would authorise any group actions - this is just to -play out individual 'honour'-based duels. The idea came to me during an exchange wherin a Dragon actively critisised a GMG fighter pilot. It would have been nice for insults to escalate into a duel of honour.
Like I said - this one hasnt been voted on, but it would be nice to get some feedback about it - perhaps even the Dragon ID would need to modified to say "Cannot attack the GMG unless his/her honour is at stake".

Make them weaker version; equipment of Chimaera for example should include (as max):
1 missle, lvl 7
lvl 7-8 guns
cutter mine
no AU
shield lvl 9
Or just use Dragons (Mk I for Chimaera)

I like the idea, but I'm no more in ]bd[, so I can't help you. Through, I recommend to talk to ]bd[ Shoguns and create thread in General Discussion.

Unfortunately, this will add pvp abuse. So, no, please.
Maybe.. Unwritten right?
Like, screen words which dishonour you, and you're ok to attack?
As a compromise - I would suggest we dont equip the ships with armour upgrades. They also wouldnt need modern scanners as they are not for catching smugglers or hunting pirates.
Weapons and shields I want to keep relatively up-to-date, mainly so they can still be effective training ships. It is no good if the Dragon trainees wipe the floor with these ships, that would breed overconfidence.

Why yes, I shall talk to the leader of the ]bd[ at once!
Yes, hi. I'm sure you never expected me to have a negative remark.
I took my Hogosha Bumblebee (1800 cargo) out for a brief trip to Gamma and back, pretty standard load of goods - 1000 quantum multiplexors, 500 food rations, 250 consumer goods, 50 optronics. 750 of that is basically always low-profit.
One of your bombers demanded five million credits from me. I'll remind you, as I reminded him, that my ship was barely worth more than that; eventually he settled on taking all the multiplexors. Which still completely murdered what profit I was going to get.
Enemy or not, demanding 5 million credits from a Bumblebee is utterly ridiculous.
Names omitted, but can be provided - along with a screenshot or two - on PMed request.
It is hoped that, in the fullness of time, it will lead to Synth Foods being added to the GMGs rep sheet as full allies. And by association, the LWB and AFA added to the rep sheet as full enemies of the GMG.
As for Azuki she has sold all her shares in H-Fuel, and invested heavily into the development of Planet Miura. She now flies under her own name.
Many of her collegues would think she has gone batty - selling out of the burgeoning fuel business, and investing in...real estate? But as Azuki would say, she is merely buying the 'worst house on the best block in the street' - so perhaps in the end, she may well come out in front...
So you guys had 5 CEO's for as long as anyone can remember and I respect the tradition, but the problem with the system is that the players are organic and the leadership keeps getting changed. You know what I'm talking about. Here are a few suggestions. Take them as you will.
Quote:A suggestion. Why not have CEO's responsible for certain function of the entity. One CEO to run economics, other military etc. That would also allow you to have more than two high-ups other than the corporate table CEO's.
Another suggestion is to have one CEO with other people playing their respective roles. Again: head of paramilitary, trading head etc.
Third and last, but not least. Designate CEO's to their respectice areas. CEO of Naha, CEO of **** etc. Use the second template, but replace function with area of influence. (similiar to how I roleplayed my character, who was one of the masterminds behind Okinawa)
