Message to: RM headquarters

Comm ID: Captain Hiltraud Kaiser

Sirs, we've had some activity in and around New Berlin these past couple of days. I welcomed Lt. Orvidos and Jack Archer to our ranks and proceeded to show them how things were done in our territory. One thing of importance, IND has come under suspicion of smuggling. I have briefed Admiral Krieg as to the particulars and an 'eyes only' brief is enroute to Admiral Reinhardt. I will use everything at my disposal to gather enough evidence on this group of 'traders'.

I'd advise all of our patrols to scan and note any empty IND vessel coming from the direction of the Sigma 13 jump hole.

Hiltraud out

MESSAGE TO: Admiral Kreig. RM Headquarters.

COMM ID: Jay Simon CEO [IND]

Admiral, apologies for the misunderstanding last night concerning the ship Tannix.Trading. Derek Mandel, the
skipper has assured me there no was intention on his side to create any problems.
He had infact just been relieved of his cargo by the Junkers in Sigma 13, and was just moving to planet
New Berlin in an attempt to repair his ship, and refill to be on hs way. The pirate activity around those parts
is well known and I have no reason to question his story.
The sterling work by your officers as always is to be commended, though Ms Kaiser's enthusiasm for her
position went maybe a little too far. There is no evidence of any intent to commit a crime here.
As you are well aware we are a large corporation and your continued assistance and support within your
boundaries is of prime importance, as with the rest of Sirius. Our continued lawful trading is a must.
We deal very harshly with anyone caught outside of our guidelines.
Thank you for your time sir, and the usual case of champagne and box of cigars are at Bonn station awaiting
your collection.
Have a good day.

Jay Simon.

Vineta lives! MUHAHAHAHAHA

*slaps self*

Ok no more licker... Oh damn the message started.

-

Admirals, The Vineta is up and running and awaiting orders. His Reputation has been fulfilled, and guns are ready to fire.

On another note, I would like to suggest Hiltraud for a promotion. As she has done very well since her return, and I think really deserves the promotion after all that has happened in the past month.

Just an idea.

Freelamen out

Captain Kaiser is, as her title suggests, a Captain. And a damn fine one.

Axel Topf, you are hereby assigned to the Vineta.
Meric Freelamen, you are hereby assigned to the Alzette.

Questions? Good.

MESSAGE TO: Admiral Reinhardt

COMM ID: Jay Simon [IND]

Niklaus old buddy, how were the champagne and cigars? Sorry to hear your off-duty boys seem to having
the same problem as your officers did a while ago with faulty scanners.
They must have made an ident error. Our company standing rules concerning the shipment of contraband
are quite clear. 'Not on my watch matey'. Names of ships and captains would be appreciated if this is infact
the case.
Or of course, we could supply you with another batch of those very high quality Kusari scanners that we
job lotted in for you last time under the radar, so to speak. Wouldn't want those KNF bigwigs knowing you
lot were using 'imported' technology would we ...
I believe that lovely Ms Kaiser has received a promotion too, please send her my best.
Nice talking to ya as always.

Jay

MESSAGE TO: Admiral Reinhardt

COMM ID: JAy Simon [IND]

Niklaus old chum, just received an unsolicited memo from one of your minions, who seems to reading your
mail. Think you ought to be checking your security measures there mate. Walls have eyes and all that ...
Seems from the communication I have in my hand, your boys have been slightly outside of their remit, and
hassling my boys doing a bit of off duty, extra curricular activity.
Now looking at the hud imformation, it would appear that the officer in question was very in very close proximity
to Kusari space. I would hate to have to mention this to the KNF when I'm next up there.
And if infact these officers are using military hardware to spy so close around the northern borders of Sigma 13
We all understand the consequences of that.
I hope these are not standing orders, but one rogue pilot who possibly missed out on his share of the usual
bribes we are forced to pay to get our legitimate cargo through. I'd hate to think there is an element that is
out to give us a hard time, for any odd reason.
We can of course at anytime move our current base of operations elsewhere. The regular niobium shipments
to Leipzig, secure prisoner movements, etc. can be left to other people, not as reliable I'm sure.
Like to see this type of smartass officer get a quick demotion for overstepping his bounds a tad.
Look forward to getting a quick response.

Jay

Ladies and Gentlemen, let me make this abundently clear;

Our Zone of Influence is limited to New Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich, Dresden, Hamburg, Stuttgart, and a little peice of Omega-15 around our battleship there. Sigma-13 is -NOT- in our jurisdiction. I don't want to see -ANY- officers outside our ZoI unless under the direct permission of a superior officer. Now, that being said, I could not care less about what the IND do -OUTSIDE- of our borders. So long as they dump any undersireables out before entering our space, we can't do anything.

I hope, for all your sakes, that this is understood. Dismissed.

- Krieg

Do not represent evidence presented to you from a civilian officer as your own. We cannot accept that for
several reasons. Think more carefully before sending me another report about the IND. Thank you.

Oh, do it again, and you can drop your gunboat keys off at my office.

Whta is this Heresy?! I have gotten this Information from none other then Lt Dog Soldier himself! I assure you that NOTHING I would present to my superior officers is nothing short of the data collected by Rheinland's Finest and from them only! Anyways, he was making a simple jaunt into the Sigma space to collect some guns for his ship and he scanned the IND craft. If he was in Rheinland space he would have fined them but he was not and as a result, that is why there has been no further actions taken against the IND. If he was in Rheinland space, be assured there would have been.

This is Axel Topf Signing out.
