2. Cheating & Hacking

2.1 Following actions are considered cheating on server:

- Using non-Discovery mods, speed-related and loot-related mods especially, as well as using modifications that improve stats of items and ships;
- Changing account information and using any kinds of software that changes normal gameplay;
- Using any equipment not included for sale/looting in Discovery mod, cloaks for example;
- Using equipment that exceeds ship specs;
- Cloning, e.g. creating new characters to collect starting money;
- Single player using two or more computers to fly their own characters.

Keep in mind that maximum allowed cruise speed in Discovery is 350, with higher speed possible only when catching up with a group.

2.2 Threats or attempts to hack server, both successful and unsuccessful, will result in banning server account forever, as well as blocking access to server and to forums.

Bullseye, if I was you I would back out of here very sharpish, and shut up now. There is not a hope in
hell of you getting any characters returned, and if you continue, you won't be creating any more on our
server ever. Am I making myself crystal clear now ?

Which is, fortunately, false. We're lucky of having so many admins/so responsible actually. I've seen communities fall for lack of decent management, much worse can it be in games.

By the way, watch out. You basically wiped out any credibility you may have achieved among the people here by cheating, then arguing against the admins because they "falsely accused you of cheating", and then admitting it and crying to get one of your deleted characters back. That's not a good record, my friend. Work it out and you'll eventually earn it back.

You just don't get it..
First of all, it is not your characters that is sanctioned/punished - It is YOU, the one who decided to cheat. That means your toys on this server gets taken away. Period.


Secondly - This server is run as a labour of love. There are talented and gifted people who use a lot more of their spare time than they really ought to, to provide a good fun environment to roleplay in.
You cheaters are pissing on those people, as well as on all those who do NOT cheat when playing here, by having cheated the way you did.

And finally - Due to gifted people like Cannon, wodka and other codemonkeys, the software is being pushed to do things Digital Anvil never expected it to do. That means it is creaking and straining. When you cheat the way you do, you are stressing the software even more. This causes crashes. Crashes irritates me, the other players, the admins, and the developers of the Mod. Irritate me enough, then I stop hosting. Irritate the developers enough, the mod dies. Irritate the other players enough, they won't play the game anymore. Irritate the admins enough, you loose your toys.

You are 1 for 4. Don't even think about trying for the last 3.

Oh, I am sorry guys... Did I make you cry? My bad.

And I am sorry of ALL this poor childrens that waste their life on this game (this game is great, but...addicting, like motherfracking WoW).
I hope they will figure out that there is more than Sirius, that there is real life and real (not virtual) society...
I am happy that I manage that on time, anyway, you guys helped me with this bann...

I hope you will continue with good working...
