Hoping to get her former captor's attention, Akane proceed to lightly smack Kage in the face. "We have to get out of here. Where are we now, and where is the closest escape faculty?"
Looking at a nearby computer terminal, Akane tried to bring up a map of the ship. The terminal showed that Akane was in the rear of the ship's bridge area, but then switched to a blue screen and an error message before Akane could figure out where the escape craft were.
Suddenly a hand grasped Akane's shoulder and she proceeded to unleash a small yelp of fear.
"Shush." Kaze said. She started typing on the terminal and a holo interface appeared.
"Tee, speed the clock to one minute and deploy the dummy security systems." Kaze said. The reply appeared on the holo interface.
"Yes, Kaze. These systems are uploaded and online. It should take them 1.2 hours to circumvent them. All reactor hatches closed, anti-matter is splitting and being generated in a geometric rate, and physical contact is impossible. Clock forwarded to one minute and counting down. Implosion imminent.".
Kaze looked at Akane, who know didn't looked the scaredy cat she once was.
"Let's go. The pods are this way."
Akane and Kage arrived at the escape pod. It was rather small, and didn't look like it was meant to hold more then one person. However, this was the only means of escape. After crawling in the cramped, spherical pod with Kage, the escape pod shook as it launched from the transport.
The 'burnout' engines started to make their trademark sound in the pod. Three engines roared to live as it gained enough power to shoot the pod at 450m/s. The automatic brakes that holded the pod in place were released, and the pod shot out of the Argus.
"ARGH! God damnit!!" Akane shouted as Kaze was thrown to her, pinning her to the pod walls.
"Hmmm.. I might like this after all.." Kaze replied, kissing again the pinned Akane.
After a good minute of the pod accelerating, the engines died down, and zero-gravity set in as the acceleration stopped. Pushing the over-romantic Kage off of her, Akane looked at the pod's control panel while reaching for her blade.
The control panel showed an image of an exploding transport - the one Akane and Kage were just on.
The pod accelerated and entered a pre-determined route to Planet Kyushu. Finally safe, both women sighed and Kaze asked once more.
"Now. We are headed to Planet Kyushu. The docking procedures are already inputed and a Nyx is already waiting for me."
Kaze grinned with wolflike semblance as she moved her hands near Akane's neck. Suddenly a snap was heard. Akane felt a jolt through her body and suddenly felt her mind to go away, but she tried to fight the sleepiness.
"Sleep tight, spy. I do hope i won't have to see you ever again." Kaze smiled.
