I start with updates on relations with our other Gallic Brethren, firstly I am happy to announce with confirmation from Mirage and Marron the Marquis wing known as le [Guillotine] are now our official allies as such all help will be provided to them, if they so require it and vice versa. Also all Marquis ships will be given close quarters on Brigand Bases.
the Unione Corse today fired upon Guillotine ships Unprovoked, as the Marquis are supposed to be the UC's allies aswell this signals to me that these [UC] have become Turncoats and are now secretly Assisting the GRN?? Caution is to be had when interacting with these guys, if the UC open fire on you then destroy them and Report it here immediately!
On patrol today myself and Asterix ran into 3 GRN ships at the champagne jumphole in burgundy where they had been waiting for us. After a fierce fight all 3 GRN ships were gunned Down with no loss of Brigand life!
As an Act of bravery Asterix is hereby promoted to Lieutenant of the Aile de Chagrin.

Bonjour mon Amis through Vigorous Smuggling with the Marquis, of Tobacco stockpiled on Montbard Base and taxing of these Foreign traders we accumulated enough money to purchase a 2nd Hand 'Obstinate' Cruiser from Le Council. The previous Owner in Question was an Old Council Capitaine who had used this Vessel in many a battle against the GRN, the fact she is still in one piece attests to her Might. Due to her Condition though we got her for a reduced price where the hull was not entriely Intact, we had to dismantle a few Gunboats in order to Repair Le Cruiser which is now in working Order and Ready for Deployment.
Le Cruiser aptly named {L~V}-Vaisseau'Mere shall be the Flagship of our Small but Capable Armada, providing Unmatched Security for all our bases and Interests. Being our Only Cruiser it will maintain patrol close to the Proximity of Brigand bases as it is too great a risk for us to allow this ship to partake in every attack we Launch!
the Loss would be to Dear! But for all large battles against the GRN the mothership will be Deployed.

CAUTION ORDER is hereby issued on all UC ships, when you make contact do not engage them unless they attack or threaten you first. Where NOT Directly Attacked! If and only IF you witness UC ships firing at Guillotine / Marquis Vessels for no Apparent reason or without Provocation do you then have Permission to Destroy Unione Corse Vessels otherwise for now Leave Em Be!!!!!

Since you were gone much has happened the main thing being some a few members have left Les Vampirs and formed a new brigand group called the {CdR} lead by mutineer Asterix who did not like the Violent existence we Vampirs have to live!, they proclaim to be the Idealistic Brigand group seeking a more peaceful existence but although they wish to Ally with us they cannot be counted as reliable being a pirate is never peaceful or selective. We must Tax All or Kill All being choosy like them would get us killed. All I say is that I thank God they are not in charge, Asterix does not realise the danger he could put us in with the Ideologies he believes. Such a Wishy Washer must not hold a Seat of Power amongst the Brigand Armada!
However aslong as his group the CdR are not weak we shall help them as they are brigands after all.
Soon we must initiate a Roll Call to Assess our current Fleet!

Hail all fine brothers and sisters in need. I come to you with a most urgent situation since the demise of
Capitan Diablo (former brigand leader), the Gallic Brigands have fallen into disarray chaos is rife, there is fighting amongst common brigands from food scraps and water while the Royals slaughter us like dogs. I have for one have seen enough blood spilt, since the time of capitan diablo RIP the GRN powerful as they are have decreased in number and have begun to slack in their patrol of Gallic space. I therefore see this as an oppurtunity to take control and dominate gallia once more, through which we will make the Gallic Brigands a properous, bustling people as is our destiny to flourish!
The elite wing of gallic brigand pilots "Les Vampirs" is to be returned to full active service under the command of myself Lieutenant Commander Chagrin aka Sorrow as my friends have come to call me. We will take up residence in Valence Base, Dauphine system and Les Vampires shall have wings docked at Narbonne, Valence and Montbard Bases strecthing the breadth of Gallia: ready to pounce on traders or enemies within striking distance.
I must also warn you all since the time of Capitan Diablo the funds of Gallic Brigands everywhere have greatly diminished as such we are no longer able to afford the Clapt-Out Council cruisers that once graced the Vampire Fleet. I must thus limit the fleet to 3 Gunboats as flagships of each Les Vampire Wing which will consist mainly of Bomber / Fighters and a few transports for booty hauling.
As leader of Les Vampires I Chagrin hereby rename "Les Vampirs" to "Les Vampires" of which the official Tag of all Vampire Pilots shall be {L~V}-Callsign[X] for Fighters / bombers, [G] for gunboats and [T] for booty haulers.
Mon amis since the great days of Capitan Diablo RIP, foreigner incursions into gallic space has greatly diminished including traders which means we must venture further out into hostile space to reap profits. In the Region known as the Taus many traders and miners haul their booty through to market places where they make great profit. It is these pigs that we shall hit hardest, we must be careful when operating in these regions of space as there are a Miriad of hostile factions struggling for power namely the Colonial Remnant and the Outcast Pirate nation of the Omicrons. The colonials being a lawful anti pirate force will be our main priority target in order tax effectively these pigs must be crushed in Uffel. As for the Outcasts we must avoid them as much as possible, and help if needed! Outcasts spread their drug which we do not approve of but their hearts are in the same place as ours to help their people flourish so maybe some bond can be kindled?

Bonsoir mis amis today is a most stupendous day in the history of the Brigands, and we hail the
Les Vampires flagship Gunboat: "{L~V}-D'esespoir[G]" our saviour for yesterday was her maiden voyage out into the hostile space of sirius and fair for us well she did, successfully carrying out recon in Tau Space the "D'esespoir" successfully launched raids on 2 transports culminating in the collection of over 4 million credits and a cargohold full of valuable booty. We are soon to commission the 2nd of our of 3 Flagship Gunboats who will spearhead raids on sirius to a new height, there is much to smile for so rejoice Mis Amis. .......................................For now we shall DrinkWINE and make Love*SALUT*........................................
