Being a Unioner

Hi community,

Yesterday I've come to a decision to make a Unioner character. I did this after doing my research on the background of the Unioners to get a clear perspective of who I should be playing.
However all the information I was capable to gather from the wiki page only explains the history of the Unioners as well as some strategic information.

What I get stuck on is the attitude a Unioner is supposed to have.
Like right now I ran into a Navy officer in Bering carrying some Rogue pilots, I explained that those Rogues are business associates of the Unioners and we don't like to be put out of business twice and therefore demanded the Rogues back. Officer complied and I returned the Rogues, but was that the kind of behavior I should have?

Would you all be so kind to share your thoughts on what you think a Unioner should behave like. What would be their stance towards Liberty? What would be their daily goals (terrorism or piracy?) Should it make sense to group up with the RHA? All information on personality, goals, thoughts, opinions ect. ect. would be very welcome.

Because of the rarity within the Unioners I cannot learn from other players in-game, therefore I'm requesting support here on the forums, in the hope I can RP perfectly as a Unioner as I really do like their RP background.

The Unioners may have originated from revolts and unrests within republican shipping and their shipyards, but that was generations ago, noch a few days.
So the Unioners as all the other criminal factions in rheinland became pirates and struggle to survive.
The Union is the smalles of them, and the unlike the LWB or The Bundschuh without any support from the rheinland civil polulation, so they are likly to to do anything to survive, anything.

Ill be happy to see more pirates in rheinland, who colobarate with other criminals and smugglers, do piracy and extortion, instead of telling me they gonna overtrough the government, and spread their socialist propaganda.
The Union was made of unemployed republican Shipyardworkers and Pilots, they hate Rheinland for kicking them out, and Liberty for taking over the Republican contracts, but firstly the should think about themselves, so go for it, do as you please, you dont have to fit into a tight role, you are a bad guy and you are almost allone, and everyone hates you and wants to kill you.

Actually... the Unioners are the 2nd largest unlawful faction in Rheinland. LWB and Bundschuh are both smaller.

This. Rheinland really needs this. Now only gang who does simply piracy are "Neo-Vikings" of Red Hessians. But hey are too small.

You might want to take a look at Rheinlands Arbeitergewerkschaft (AGS-) which also includes the official Unioner faction. We are few, but we are around. And we are always looking for people to fly with us.

@ Wuselkobold, thanks for the offer but I rather stay independent simply because I can't be around all the time, and I've been in factions since I came here and would like to be independent this one time.
That doesn't mean we can team up of course! Thanks for the links to, will read them when I get the time.
