Thats is everywhere too, still doent mean you have to support this way of doing things.
The larger the community, the more leading institutions should combat corruption and mob mentallity.
If they dont, one thing leads to another...
EDIT: I dont try to get a sRP because I dont want one, and never felt I needed one to do the things I wanted to do. But I saw people who got them, and I see people shouting when they didnt get it. This is what formed my opinion on SRPs. They are a "Im above you, not all rules apply to me" license. And nothing good will come from that.

Hah.
I thought the people yelling about admin/faction leader conspiracy were joking. Then I became a faction leader and later an admin. That's when I realised that some of the people who talk about the admin/faction leader conspiracy are actually serious and geniunely believe in the idea.

About pvp elitism... dont really see a problem with it. Its linked to real skill in pvp, not some fictuous skill like someone pointing to his rank and IRP or OORP "power" or to some rule loophole someone uses to play unfairly. Its easier, for me at least, to accept that someone is better at pvp than me. Even if that someone happens to be a total prick, his pvp skill will still not really destroy other peoples game or fun because there are lots of ways around it, like just avoiding him or seaking pvp protection from other players.
About RP elitism... thats more of a problem. So far, none of the people who use RP for elitism (with that I mean for example people who say "I just shoot people with bad RP, because my RP is better", people who use their own rank somewhere to push other people around, or people who think they cant get shot because they were RPing or had built some RP loophole around themselves) had particularly entertaining or logical RP. Its not easy for me to accept that sort of behavior.
The second ruins other people fun much more than just losing a pvp against someone who was obviously more skilled, in my opinion.

No, you didnt think that. Deep down you know perfectly well that what you and other people call "admin conspiracy" to ridicule people is this:
Admins and other "higherups" not giving a rats ass about truth or fairness or rule 1.3, as long as they know that "the mob" of other higherups will be on their side. All you have to do is deny everthing and feed the mob. THen you can stay in power and keep doing what ever you and they want, without having to worry about the fairness and fun of players in general.
Admins play the game too.
Admins don't start factions, they come into power in a faction during their administration.
There is no admin conspiracy.
Except for MAYBE the IND, but nobody hates the IND.

That's about the point I choked on my coffee.
I was surprised myself when I figured that out. So, for all you Glarthirs and other assorted Paranoids "[font=Tahoma] [color=#33FF33]WE ARE NOT OUT TO GET YOU"
That said, there is an awful lot of bias in a few places, which I wont name here. Double standards are -everywhere- as well, namely in a lot of the areas generally accused of being elitist. I am not saying there is anything wrong with invite only factions, I am just saying that on occasion, someone in one gets massivly stuck up. This usually self rights itself, and is of no real importance. I would have to say the real "Problem", are people who are just a bit arrogant. You can find them everywhere, Dev, Troll, Indie, Faction Etc. This displays itself in ways, such as interpreting what people "really want". This generally results in pissing some folks off, and to a total stonewalling on the initial poster's part, who probably belives that it was just a knee-jerk and nothing more.
One problem is, some rules doesn't really put RP on the front side, it's even sometimes the Oposite.
If someone saw a Gallic ship in Sirius, he will certainly report to admin (Oorp)
while the correct Rp for most Civilians (traders - Merc - Miners - ...), would be to tell a navy ship :"Officer, I've just saw a very strange looking ship with a flower on the hull near Manhatan"
I Think Admin role is not to do the dirty work of Factions, theirs role is to ensure the good faith of the RP.
