I have a Vista computer as well, I find that if you set the program properties to run with Windows XP SP2 compatabilities the program works fine. Sometimes running it as an administrator helps too in these situations.

I love Vista no matter what anybody says, you just gotta know how to tweak it.

As you can read above... I am having no problem on my Vista computer...

However I am having a problem on my XP computer!

Everytime it attempts to scan for new accounts I get the following error:

Error -2147024770: Automation Error
The specified module could not be found

I have tried reinstalling it several times to no avail.

Korrd, for users with Vista, tell them to turn on User Account Control, and to run it as an administrator.

I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.

Hmm.
That error should not be happening.
Did you install it as an Admin?
Did you reboot after installing (if the installer asks you to reboot)?

Yes, this is my son's computer and I have the only admin account on the computer and I installed using that account. I did try to restart the computer and it didn't help. Let me say that the Beta 3 worked but when I upgraded to this version is when I got this error.

How did you solve it?
It would be good to know the answer, so i can investigate further into the problem, and others can use the info to solve it themselves in the mean time.
