Yeah - when you get the pictures up on a big screen, it's just awesome. I played some on a projector - just needed the white wall and less background lighting.
That's always been something, when I'd see someone talking about playing their Xbox or PS3 - up until a few months ago, I always played on our 60" rear projection regular (not high-def) TV down in the basement - which makes it REALLY neat. I moved the Xbox up to the bedroom, and I can lay in bed and play on the 42" Plasma that's on the wall opposite. The graphics for Mass Effect are cinema quality - my wife was just watching me play last night and couldn't believe how it looked in the space station.

Yep that's what normally happens. -dx seems handy, but I just edit the .ini to whatever.
