Do you mind attempting to negotiate for access to Hokkaido as well? Hokkaido does belong to The Emperor, because, if you remember, we are building a jump gate to the Chugoku system there. It was also the primary base of operations for the Katana, until recently, when you ordered us out.
Also, speaking of that, what would our job be if there were no Blood Dragon invaders to engage? In what other way can a defensive wing like ourselves serve the Emperor?

Captain,
Bear in mind that this is a temporary agreement. We will withdraw from Hokkaido to provide a buffer zone while the KNF rebuilds its forces to its former strength. While I understand that this deprives you of a base of operations, it cannont be helped. Resupply and trade missions to the construction site and the Matsumoto can still be conducted by House traders. We will just not linger, and will inform NovapG and Bushido craft of our presence and intentions.

Need I remind you that just recently a contingent of Bretonian Sirius Forces drove all the way into the heart of the Blue Lagoon? They attacked our bases in both Kyushu and New Tokyo. I would suggest that an appearance of your Defensive Wing would have been most appropriate at that time.
Further, I doubt you will have any lack of intruders to defend against in Kusari. Independent pirates abound, many of them Blood Dragons, as well as Outcasts and Corsairs. Why, the Gunboat Chijin was severely damaged just last evening by a Nayehiya Old One. A rogue gunboat flying freely at will in New Tokyo!
Captain, if you cannot find traders to defend, and targets of opportunity other than the NovapG and the Bushido, then I suggest you are not looking hard enough. Your fixation on these Clans from our North is understood. It grates on my honor and sensibilities to offer any of Kusari space to our enemies, even temporarily; but I must, in order to focus on other matters.
This will be a time of reflection for us all. House Kusari can be an even greater force in Sirius than ever before, if it is not divided in its efforts and intentions. Perform your duties well, and we shall prevail against Bretonia and other pirate intruders and scum.
New Ensign, I am sure you fought well with the resources you now have. From reports, I know that you have completed your indoctrination missions and paperwork for the KNF ((IFF and ID..)).
However, I understand that you have not yet had time to fly with our veterans, and to outfit your ship completely. I will direct all KNF and KNT veteran pilots to assist you in honing your skills and equiping your ship with the best possible shields, armor, and weapons.
We do not send our brave men into combat without the best available resources. Next time, you will be fully prepared, I promise.
You did well to enlist the aid of =BSG=, as you were performing Escort duties into their territory. Also, feel free to call upon the Katana Defensive Wing for assistance. They seem to be lacking for things to do in the Core Systems, and are hereby authorized to expand defensive operations into the Taus as well.

Liberty rouge gunboat sighted earlier shooting down civillian shipping
and traders at Akita border station.
There was little I could do seeing as I wasn't equipt with
torpedos and he would have outrun them at any rate. After taking
a sever beating I retreated after not being able to put a scratch on his
shields. I put out a gereral system wide call for assistnce and
retreated I did not manage to take a name or get a pict recording...

Terms of Cease-fire with NovaPG and Bushido. Effective immediately:
1) Temporary ceasefire between NovaPG/Bushido and KNF/Katana throughout Sirius until the end of September. Length can be renegotiated at any time by either side.
2) KNF/Katana will stay out of Hokkaido, Chugoku, Tohoku, and the NovaPG/Bushido Guard/Home Systems except for pass-thru to other systems when requested.
3) NovaPG/Bushido will stay out of Kyushu, New Tokyo, Honshu, Shikoku, Hiroshima, and Fukuoka except for pass-thru when requested.
(I know there may be instances when a request is impossible.. no one on to ask.. considerations given. These terms pertain to major Fleet movements. Individuals will be given consideration in their movements through Cease-fire space.)
4) NovaPG/Bushido will not pirate or interfere w/ KNT/Kishiro/Samura traders anywhere; nor will our side interfere with NovaPG/Bushido traders anywhere. If NovaPG/Bushido will provide a complete list of their affilliated Traders, they will be noted and included in the Terms.
5) Non-aligned traders in any of the above systems must fare for themselves during the Cease-fire. There are plenty of Escorts, Mercenaries, etc., to give them protection during this time. Both sides will be responsible for documenting any attacks made upon their own Factions or others in the area that may be against the spirit of this Cease-Fire. These incidents must be reported to Leaders, and will be discussed in good faith in an effort to maintain the Cease-fire.
This will be rebroadcast on all Kusari channels. Please make sure that all our Brother and Sister Officers are aware of it and abide by the Terms.

Today a Kusari transport convoy successfully brought back to Honshu 8800 deuterium units from Omega-49.

On the way down a Mollys hostile contact known as "Brody.Dalle" was spotted in Dublin and followed the convoy in O-49 where engaged the escort with an Outcast Dreadnought
While the escort kept the dreadnought busy, our transports loaded the cargo and fled back to Dublin.
I'm afraid to report a loss in our ships, "Shuutan" was reached by enemy missiles and his ship exploded in the western cloud in O-49, his escape pod was recovered and he is alive and safe. Photo album here.
Began evening tour of duty. Immediate encounter with a Junker flying a Corsair Gunboat outside the Battleship Nagumo. Vessel callsign: Libertines UK3.
The pathetic crew of the Nagumo should be keelhauled.. I attempted to bring the pirate into its range several times while losing repair items rapidly; and the louts did not even fire at the attacking vessel.
The fight ensued for long minutes, but eventually the Megami took heavy damage (1 death), and was forced to return to the useless Battleship for repairs.

Hopefully her repair crews are more reliable than her gun crews.
Megami's crew will also receive intense training, and I will be looking into alternate weapons arrays.
Hmm is it possible that the pirate had sabotage the Battleship Nagumo's firing AI such that it fails to fire on it. I shall put in a full enquiry about this incident with the Nagumo's Captain. In the meantime I have already ordered them to re-install the AI mechanism and look for any bugs in the old one.
Rest assured Megami, I will get to the bottom of this.
