Terms and conditions defined in statutes, law, and contracts bind only those things defined, terms, and conditions. they DO NOT cover thier opposites. or "seemingly" related terms conditions .
Unless its on the id its under the broader rules of the server.
Nah, not really. Say, id doesn't say you can trade/smuggle around whoel sirius anywhere, but you still can. This is not some kind of laywer bull**** here, it's pretty disorganized.

AI ID is most misterious when it comes to PvP...
before it sayed you can attack in self-defence
now you an engage pirates/terrorists in ''wilde space'' without JG. I dont really know why there is no word about lawfuls, but inRP you can shoot anyone if he steal your tech, insulting you or all AIs, makes troubles to AI Planet Gammu (note: Gammu IS AI planet, not zoners as many sayes, cause there is no humans on it because of radiation and no sell Zoner ID)
Stick to your RP and you can shoot all who you must be shoot. my AI shoots Nomads/OC/Wild and many others if provoked, like Order/BHG/BHG Core
' Wrote:Outcast id does not say you can engage corsairs and lawfuls.
yes it does
Quote:Outcasts
Pilot carrying this ID is a member of the Outcasts who:
- May engage in piracy.
- Can engage pirates, terrorists and lawfuls within their Zone of Influence.
- Cannot ally with any military or police players, except for Bretonian lawfuls against Corsair, Gallic lawful, or Gaian players.
Quote:Corsair id does not say you can engage hessians and outcasts.
yes it does
Quote:Corsairs
Pilot carrying this ID is a member of the Corsairs who:
- May engage in piracy.
- Can engage pirates, terrorists and lawfuls and eat babies within their Zone of Influence.
- Cannot ally with any military or police players, except for Kusari lawfuls against Outcast, Golden Chrysanthemum, and Blood Dragon players.
Both IDs explicitly allow attacking lawfuls. Both factions are also pirates ("may engage in piracy") and as a result both are also covered under "can engage pirates" against each other too.
Quote:Following server rules and your id's restrictions is the important bit, just because it doesent expressly say you CAN doesent mean you cant.
It does for purpose of engagement. You can do anything that isn't expressly allowed right up until you shoot somebody, then you need permission. In the case of AI ID, you can engage who it says you can, nobody else.
Another question, while we're at it. IF it'll be allowed to engage both lawfulls and unlawfulls.
For example, .FACE got an AI ID'ed ship as the "High Priest", or "Deity" or whatever.
For example, you, flying an AI ID'ed ship, engage a group of players that have an AI ID in it. Especially if it's the leader of said group. How he should behave? Just sit and watch?
(and yes, currently AI ID can not engage lawfull ships in it's zoi)
