Downloaded, installed (takes a while to instal).

Remember to install OPENAL, otherwise no sound and you get to uninstall the game, just to reinstall it so you can get sound.

Game looks good, plays well. Remember to plug in your joystick BEFORE starting the game otherwise it won't find it.

Default buttons are for an 8 button J-stick by the looks of things, pity those of us with 4 buttons.

Once I get the all the controls configured to my liking, I may spend a considerable amount of time playing it.

One thing I already know...... Auto-pilot is ftw, there are some LOOOONG distances between waypoints/place where you actually need to be in control.

And then I discovered that the default controls are designed for a proper keyboard, not a laptop*, and I'm not in the mood to complete remap the controls for a game I've never played before.

Oh well.

Heh, my plan is to re-map every key to the same setup as..... TIE Fighter '95.

Most of the controls in this game are extremely similar to the controls in TIE Fighter, so re-mapping them will make this game much easier for me to get my head around, as far as the flying/controlling of it goes.

Of course, there are some commands which don't have an equivalent in TIE, but I can't see that being much of a problem. :D
