You may record a video, that's a good idea, but it shouldn't be intro - rather a standalone movie that we could submit to TLR for server/mod advertising purposes. I don't really want to include large movies with the mod, cause it will increase its size alot.
As for intro, maybe someone could make an animated logo of Discovery, kind of - something like Microsoft/DA logo, simplier of course. That could be cool.
Now, people, we have to choose if we want to make:
- a Fun movie with dialogs(script + subtitles during the movie because real voices is not realizable)
- or Server advertiser (no script, just a presentation of new features)
id say like a short advertisement with a bit of a script to hook people with alittle text to should advertise the server and the mod. it should be interesting and exciteing. have like a peace full start to it then go in to action have a coreografrd fight wiht vfh bomber cruisers gb's and bs maybey in a new system to show off the mod a bit. show a few trade velssles to to get some traders to take a look. id put that in the begining ware the peaceful into would start text shoul be like discovery mod show a cruise liner flying near a cool sun then show some traders.
mak eshure the describe the server a bit make shure people know it's RP then go tto the battle with all the ships i mention in an exzotic local.
if ya could slow music in begining then fast. music works well with videos. and near the middle and end with the battel use sometihing fast pace. those are my ideas.
