Cabulb: While I personally am using GIMP, it should be similar in most programs
I just cropped the image using a rectangle selection a bit smaller than the faint visible outline. to further reduce the dimensions, I used the "Autocrop Image" option. This removes unneeded transparency from the edges.
Most likely, the outline occured in your case because the selection tool you used had the "feather" option activated. A selection feather is actually blurs the outlines of the selection. Kinda like the edges of a black rectangle on a white background, after Gaussian blur has been applied.
Thanks a lot guys for the positive stuff, it's not often my style gets acknowledged and appreciated. I didn't rage about it, I simply didn't find the way some people express their opinions much friendly and was annoyed.
I should start sticking warning labels on my stuff to stop people staring at them for too long and hurt their eyes.:D
Style and good cratfsmanship often get confused. Your work is nice, it is not for everyone but that doesn't mean it is bad. No, it is quite good actually and it has a target audience. Its simply, some people are out of that target audience.
I don't like that kinda stuff because I really cannot look those. My eyes seriously hurt (not teasing, really hurt as in literal hurt in RL) and my migraine acts up after a while. I always liked traditional art stuff.
But, the work is there and it can be seen, and the "full" one looks better because the image itself is like a splash thingy, removing the borders looks as if you forgot to clean some layers due to the ocmposition. Imho.
I have to agree with Ophidian. I do not think that Cabulb's art is sucky, I think it is great and he got the eye for it. I, too, have a problem with high contrast art like that, but my eyes don't hurt yet. I wonder if Ophidian's favorite color is blue? Because mine is and my eyes kind of rest on that color, I can not describe the feeling I get.
Cabulb, you should try making some designs for ravers. I can imagine some funky colors on a black t-shirt glowing under the black light. You can do grids, geometrical shapes, splatters and I think you will be great at making those trippy designs. If you could make one for me, I would love to see how it would made by you.

I prefer black and darker tones in reality. Well, I am talking about computer screens though.
If I am talking about the whole real life thingy, there is one color that I cannot stand, truly forcing my migraine. I won't tell which one is that here cause I know at least 10 guys who will try to post that color to tease me as a joke hehe.
