What do YOU want from a faction?

Plenty of members to keep things going and lots of fun. Or lulz. YesPanzer.
But for that I can just make a Skypecall, invite three quarters of CR in it, and go on a trading mission. 5 minutes into it i'll be rolling on the floor, and heading into a nearby sun.

This one is easy. I want good RPers. The rest falls into place. I also want the people I have that are in different factions to be able to RP separately without metagaming. To this point, I count myself lucky. I don't need the biggest faction, just one of the best.....RP wise!

Weren't we all noobs once? I can quite clearly remember my 'lolwut' days spent in a Merc ID'd, BHG tagged Gladiator :cool:

Anyway, I don't mind newbies in the faction one bit. I think they actually add something to the faction... As long as they're, well... Sane.


Speaking of sane, I like people not seeing RP and the combat aspect of it (har har) as two incompatible things. Which may bring a lot of bad blood into the faction (yes, I prefer combat-oriented factions:P)

Another Note that I will put - seeing that Freelancer Server cannot hold much more than 200 players - Don't you think that having more open slots will have a ton lot more activity on the system? Sure - but with Freelancer it's impossible, we have too much systems for 200players (hence why people gather where there's more activity on one area. To get Rp, PVP, and of course for the <strike>lol's</strike> fun.)

TBH - when I first hear about the new house (Gallia) - I didn't really quite get the excitement out of it. Yeh, I am in GRN| but my activity is almost or barely dead - not much activity going on there, yet being far.

Heh, the more I type, the more thoughts and critics comes in mind. However, I won't spoil it. My intentions with Discovery is nearly dead as well .... but, I am holding - hoping for a small spark to activate:laugh:

Junkers pretty much fit the bill for this.
I don't mind ship tech so long as I can use something that is pretty much equal to what I'll be fighting.

need to be able to act serious, smart, responsible and funny.
oh and willing to help each other and learn to control anger which is actually being responsible.

I want to be able to have fun full stop.
I want to be able to log onto Skype, say 'hi' to the faction and not be flooded by 500 messages full of trolling crap.
I want to be around friendly people.
