the nomad ships should stay, but, moved to a base where only a nomad may dock. so, in theory, have the nomad fighter in gamu ar whereever u buy it, but move the caps to a nomad base. that way, cap spamming will be prevented, you wont have pvp whoring rpless nomad players roaming about, and it also allows people such as treewyrm to prove to those who are concerned that they have their act together to become a nomad. i mean cmon, just coz everyone cant RP it, you cant take it away from those who can entirely can you? its not fair tbh.. as ive seen, tree started off by speding ALOT of time in the fighter only, giving proof time and again that he can do it, hes researched it as well, and does everything a nomad would be considered doing.
in the case of the phantom id, i dont think any phantom will be giving any random player thier id, so i think there may be some foul play involved. i mean, from what i know, the phantom id is only given by the admins, by a certain procedure that is certainly not possible normally.
you might wanna pm the name of the player and if u have any screens of it to an admin (bulldog to start off with id say)
indeed it is. just like the wild, nomad and admin rep. so if any f those seem to change for someone all of a sudden, youve been a very naughty boy/girl...:nono:
anyway, going back to the original topic, yeh id sat the ships should stay. how bout moving the nomad caps to the admin/nomad base?
Quote:[*]This server is using FLAK & Ioncross (with anti cheat detection)
[*]When using FLAC/Ioncross purchasing equipment that isn't sold at a base and launching = KICK for cheating and character being "rolled back" as it notices that "Hey, that isn't sold there!" This goes for all equipment.

So unless someone disabled the anti cheat for a full server cycle... He had to have hacked the server - Which worries me. How safe is the machine? (Admins?)
Currently the server is as safe as it can get without stopping you guys playing here ... If the security got any
higher we wouldn't get on.
The FLCD (Cheaters Death) is currently not enabled so the odd stupid bugger can slip a clientside on ...
Thats going to change very soon. The server DID NOT get hacked gentlemen ... OK

yah the server had no hack, hack is just a term of speech as for nomad ships getting rid of nah keep em they can hold a very big RP value if done right, hell ive had some very nice RP'ing from one in alpha once.

Definately not something to announce publicly.:P

That lead me to believe that the server was hacked. The proper wording should have been modified clientside files to gain un-obtainable equipment or some wording like that.
The server was not hacked and trust me DarkOddity your scaremongering is not helping and peeing a lot of people off.
This server is safe and clietside mods can be added, it does not mean it was Hacked,
Stop the rubbish NOW!! or i will have your posting rights removed for 5 days.
Bulldog, I was not attempting to scare people, I voiced a concern based on admin wording (per my above quote of Kane). Hoodlums post ended that concern, and I simply confirmed that I understood and was glad that it was over.
My apologies if that's how you viewed my concerns.

I personally do not find human controlled nomad ships reasonable since they wouldnt fit into any kind of Roleplay. Best to do is remove purchase of these ships while leaving the npc still, or maybe add a Dom'Kavash npc affliation that people could be involved in? I know its dreamy and it does not even sound reasonable to me.
