Yep, pipboy is right about the purchase, DarkOddity already agreed to hand over the characters to him.
But if he hasn't got a problem with giving them to X-Lancer, then great. It's just he should be asked, at least...:-)
Anyway, welcome on board, X-Lancer. I know you're one of best Osiris pilots out there, and you already taught the rest of Elders how to fight in it, and I'll talk to the rest of the Elders about granting you some exception about flying an Osiris even though you are not an Elder yet.
Yep, I'd love to join please, I've beeen drifting around the Borderworlds fo some time on my own and now feel the need to join a Faction. There must be more to Life than gambling, brandy and wild women!
I have a Titan moored up on Crete right now, that's my favourite ship and planet. I have loads of SP experience with FL but I'm relatively inexperiencewd with on-line play, groups, factions anfd group missions.
Corsairs are the best and most ferocious Faction in my view so I'd simply like to join with you guys. If you'll have me I'll renounce my wild loner days, put down the dice, sober up and join the fight! I'll keep with the wild women tho' if you don't mind:)
I have not much experience in piloting traders. But want to have a go! Just meed the money for a decent ship so will probably be applying for that loan if accepted.
My nominated name is Ricardo dos Santos = Santos [TBH] - My real name is John
Maniaco brought a sledge-hammer this time as all his efforts to persuade the bloody testing terminal to cooperate failed.
He turned to the newest recruit and said: "I am sorry for the delay, brother Ricardo, but this will finally work, I believe. Please step back now."
And he smashed the top of the machine with full force. A lot of sparks appeared and then a silent "beep" was heard and the terminal started to boot.
"There you go! Good luck!", Pedro smiled. Although his methods were sometimes not very sofisticated, they worked. And he left for the Boozer's Lounge to have a beer.
Ricardo dos Santos just finished answering the last test question. He hit <Enter> and after some time the final score appeared, showing 96,4% while fanfares sounded.
After it stopped a simple flashing message appeared on the terminal:
>Welcome to the Brotherhood<
Ricardo left the room, he had a Titan to prepare and he had not much time, as another battle in the Frankfurt system started next day...
Shouting thanks to Pedro and Maniaco, Ricardo raced for his Titan, barely pausing to consider how it was that he heard a silent "beep" when the testing terminal booted. Much to be learnt.
Jumping into the cockpit he checked systems, revved the engines and launched into space with a wild grin curling his lips into a grimace and a gutteral grunt of glee escaping in anticipacion of the adventures to come. Not much time to prep the ship in time for the Rheinlanders he thought, better get on with it.
This has got to be better than the life of a Loner he mused during the smooth take off as he prepared to meet the challenge ahead with his Brothers.....
