Who mentioned anything about cooperating with the LN??
Secondly, yes, it is just an Idea at this stage. But we plan on roleplay more than just standard pirating.
Oh well, we will see if it works out in the end. But the Bundschuh has always been more attractive than the LWB and the Unioners, because we are smart revolutionaries.
Will it fail? Maybe, it is true that we've failed in the past. Still there are some people who have learned to love the Bundschuh. The Bundschuh does have something very unique. They do not fight to defeat the enemy, but to turn their enemy or at least the population over to their side. IMO when the Bundschuh fight it is pretty much "propaganda of the deed".
The point is, as long as there are people playing as the Bundschuh, the bundschuh will live. We are just trying to create a faction, that will make it more well known again, because quite frankly. The bundschuh and Von Claussen were some of the most amazing characters of the original campaign and everyone wants to see the Bundschuh back to full strength after the last kinda"failure" (not really, only failure is the old VF hardly exists anymore)

The Bundschuh of Cloppenburg were aware of the research that took place in Munster Research Facility, and when Liberty ships advanced as far as New Hampshire, they contacted them in order to help the Liberty Navy with recon information in exchange for money, which would go to Bundschuh, and political asylum, which was intended for Rheinland scientist Wilhelm Schenker who escaped from Munster in 815 A.S., settled in Cloppenburg, and became a kind of spiritual leader for the small Bundschuh community.
As the other Bundschuh became aware of Schenker’s plans, many were against betraying Rheinland Military for the sake of getting material benefits from a hostile nation. Yet, many considered it a way to prevent the Munster operations from reaching completion, which (as Schenker believed, or convinced others he believed) could cause another wave of Nomad infestation within Rheinland.
Schenker himself explained his willingness to go to another House by Liberty government’s “healthy” attitude to Nomad research that did not involve dangerous experiments. As the war came to be much longer than he expected, the scientist grew restless and would probably run away from Cloppenburg himself and try to reach some local Liberty patrol, but his followers not only admired him, but also guarded him well from outside dangers. Leaving the station unnoticed is hard to achieve in those circumstances.
Role of Bundschuh in the Battle for Munster is not exactly known. However, once the Liberty Navy disabled Westphalia and entered Bremen with a massive capital ship fleet, they did pay the Bundschuh for their services, captured Schenker from Cloppenburg (allegedly by using military force), and cancelled all further relations with the faction.
I mentioned that the Lore says that, not a specific person:P
Edit: I'm not sure if my warnings were considered at all, but I wish you good luck if you are truly up to this.
I rather consider LN equaly valid target as RM or Corsairs. I do not think we will find anyone willing to follow this Liberty-Bundie crap. And there is a way to make Bundschuh different which I intend to use... Hessians are no longer partisant faction, now just overrated cap fleet gathered around Omegas (no offence to playerbase). Bundschuh can replace them in that role as a faction that biggest ship deployable is RM funboat and Heimdall with intention of true guerilla warfare and everpresent thorn in RM's side. To my feeling AGS is more into pirating and smuggling, somehow I can't see how it could take away our activity. And I can't recall time when RHA was trying to persuade RM and civilians for their own profit, which Volksfront was doing as Jarl pointed out.

Oh, i can remember hours of that, and that is hours even before you count the endless transmitter fun with radio and propaganda over 4 systems at the same time. But you know what's the problem with it? It gets really boring. Sure, arguing about politics with RM can be fun for the first time, or first 5 times, but everybody knows well that nobody is going to suddenly change sides, and the same arguements fly around all the time, so why bother? As for turning civilians to your side, huh, that's hard when no civilians exist. Unless by civilians you mention, say, miners. Yeah well this is fun for some first times, too. Then what?
