' Wrote:I'm aware of the feature. But I like being independent and not relying on other people. I admit, I did fill my own Shire, because of my mentality regarding others, which is not to rely on them. Losing five ore clouds because nobody was around to purchase them forced me into action to be more independent of haulers.
The reason I chose the Basalt is because I'm trying to role-play something different. I see expensive ships like Hegemons and Mafics everywhere and I'm thinking: How are small-time miners affording these in the first place? InRP it doesn't make any sense. It's like everybody driving Ferrari's without an explanation on how they got the money to buy one.
I did the same, just on a mafic and later dacite. It'd be great if there were more haulers in other systems than
Dublin. If you maybe joined a miner's faction you might have better chance to work for a trader.
No more ore clouds...That's a good thing. You should have seen the massive clouds I/we mined every now
and then. 15k units of ore in one place cause some heavy lag for some. Of course it's a bit sad not to be able
to mine before the hauler arrives anymore, but I think it's better now. No more ore stealing.
About the role play behind all those Hegemons...maybe they are borrowed from the mining faction you are
working for...
Hey, Cannon, fun stats project if you feel like it:

I have determined that transports in formation, if alt-tabbed in formation, will murder each other.

A bug that I saw yesterday, sadly I didn't take a pic. When I took a tradelane, it wouldn't activate normally, I mean either up or down, but always in the middle. If it happens today too I'll screen it.
The docking messages are awesome. Now my lawfuls will have more but a vague evidence that "this smuggler docked at the planet/station" thanks for that!
On a sidenote: NPCs seems to FOCUS on crashing into ya. Just was flying for an hour and my transport was kicked around more than ever.
Just wondering if anyone else noticed that or if I just had an unlucky day.

and then we can institute a small levy for docking there?

Anyway, happened to me only, or...? xD
That's a known bug. If you take the trade lane in Iota, and then a normal lane without restarting FL, it uses the nomlane animation.
Canon, could you explain the reasoning behind not appearing in the same spot when you F1 in space?
