Anyone else have this issue?
It's been mentioned a few times in this thread and elsewhere.

A tally, per base, of the amount of people docking there per day. To see which bases are most frequently visited.
Not to sound negative, but you know pirates will use this to pirate. Find out where everyone is going, and camp all lanes to it.
As for F1 in space, and popping up/down. This is on purpose,so you cannot drop ore in space, log off,and log on transport to pick it up.

Currently if two ships colide and the are reasonably small, no damage is done to either. In all other cases, damage is done to both ships proportional to their respective sizes
So, i tried it yesterday. 3 Shires, 2 Gunboats and a Templar in formation. In the end, after the trip from New York to Ontario, i had about 80+ bots missing, all other ships were damaged, too.
I think its a real disadvantage, should there a combat situation be coming up. I personally really dont like damage in formation flight. Nothing against taking damage when i bounce someone else when coming out of a lane. But dont we have navigational computers and navigational shields to avoid damages caused by little bounces in formation flights?
I really dont know if anyone uses formation often... I do. and so, im not confident with the actual development, sorry to say.

Seems to be a problem with gunboats then, because bumping into a transport with a fighter didn't cause
damage to me (Eagle vs Adv.Train) when I was in formation with him.

I think you don't take damage when you bump into the ship that you're formed on, but if other ships that are also formed on the same ship bump into you, damage happens.

I think.
nope, i also took damage when bouncing on the ship i was formed on.
I'd like to see a LOCKED thread where *ALL* tweaks made to the game mechanics of the server are posted by Cannon.
Comments can be made in other threads, such as this one.
Having info on all such alterations in one thread would enable people who are new or returning to the server to see what has been done.
I ran into a 'returning' player today who complained that he had been shooting rocks in the helium field in Pennys for ages and they haven't gotten any helium.
I then told him that he would need a mining laser to get any sort of drops, hoping that the field had been turned on for mining, as I had read that it had been earlier.
I'm also finding it slightly annoying that I can't just go and 'free mine' when I'm bored or I have a ship that needs some flight time, like I used to.
Even a one for one ratio with 'standard' guns would be fine by me.

I agree with you here. Sometimes we were sitting in the T23 Niob field, having a skype call, talking about everyone and his mother while shooting rocks and transporting the ore to New Berlin afterwards. I indeed miss that.
So I was wondering. If it's possible to turn on/off the NPCs when a certain player count is hit, why not the mining?
I think it would be cool to relax and mine for a few, if no one actually cares about piracy and all that.
Like when the server's capacity is below 100 people.
The mining limitation could turn on automatically when the server goes above let's say 100 players!?
Would be awesome and bring back some good chats. (at least for me)
